I think it is hard to understand. Especially having gone though the flaming of Grace.
Friends whom I consider wise and kind have just chosen to ignore the initial conversation and move on. I don't understand it, I accept it because I'm not their mom but I don't understand it.
I don't apologize so I guess they can look at me and my disgust and not understand either, that's the beauty of this sort of community.
I had a coherent response planned, but the tiniest of wrens is watching me from the hedge, beak full of caterpillars, and my mind has gone elsewhere.
do you guys have wrens? incredibly shy but so tiny and sweet.

I love my garden!
I don't see them often in my area, I have a lot of hummingbirds though, the ruby-throated males fight and you can hear their beaks bashing against one another. It's fascinating.
Last night we were outside watching the storms roll in and there were a bunch of fireflies flitting about. It was so nice to see them because I think the pesticides on the farms have driven them away.
The initial conversation happened months ago. Rehashing every time a post on it happens turns repetitive for me and I tune out. I stated my peace and asked my questions a long while back. The slate was wiped clean, and I move on.
do they even have hummingbirds in england?
you poor bastards.
That's so sad.![]()
