I have been reading the BDSM library and came across a thread about suffocation. I would like to hear your experiences and your opinion too after reading what a particular poster said. I just want to see the variety of thoughts about it as someone has mentioned he would like me to try it with him.

You started your first thread on 5/30, saying you were "very new", Breathplay is usually classified as "edge play" - meaning high risk. As in, you never really know if/when it'll go too far and you won't wake up kind of high risk. Not for newbies.

Jay Wiseman has thoroughly covered breathplay over the years; he's a bit OCD about the risks and dangers of it, but if you're going to be OCD about someting, stuff that may cause brain damage is a good thing to be OCD about.

There are ways to do breathplay that are safer, but it's difficult to do breathplay in a 100% safe manner. If some dude I had just met was saying he wanted me to try brethplay with him, he'd have to prove he knew as much (or more) about it than I did. And even then, it would be a good minute before I'd let him (as much as I love doing it).

Jay Wiseman has a group on Fet, with links to all his research. I'd start off by reading that, and use that knowledge to see ask questions and see what the dude wanting to do this with you knows.

Lol cutie mouse I told him no way.....I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced and if anyone claims it's perfectly safe....it's clear that experienced guys feel it's dangerous just as I always have.

now that's one I wont play, doing or receiving.
it can go wrong real fast. you hear about some of the ones that took it a little to far.
just seems to dangerous to me
