haha deep cleaning doesn't mean shit cleaning. It's the sweeping and washing the floors kind of thing. No shit involved. I wear rubber boots for cleaning stalls.

We've downsized a lot. My parents used to have a full on Daylily nursery. I can't take care of that much. So I'm slowly trying to condense the good stuff.

Are stargazers part of the day lily family? My wife loved Stargazers back in the day. The florists always told me that they were considered the death flower as a lot of cemetery arrangements used them.

I'm white with nothing fun. They are a hybrid Lily. Used at funerals because they often symbolize purity and innocence that are restored to the soul of the departed. They are an easy keeper and last longer then some other flowers. The Stargazer being a hybrid, is very fragrant.

Look at you, all knowledgeable about lily's.
I never knew they were a hybrid flower. I just remembered that she always liked them and they were hard to get. For a few years there was a florist along my way home that ended up being owned by a family I had known for years. She would always give me really good deals on flowers plus we would hang out and BS for a bit. She got to where she would get a few stargazers in for me every few weeks. The other thing I remember was wife telling me that the little tips of the stems (yea, I know I used the wrong name) would stain stuff really bad. The cat liked to try and rub against them and he was a white/black cat.

Some of them yes. I wasn't into it as much as my parents. My Mom had a list of every species they had, and where everyone was buried. Sadly I found the list when I was cleaning, but really couldn't tell how she drew her maps. Stargazer was one of my Moms favorites too. The smell was probably a big reason why. My Mom loved everything that smelled good. Lilacs being one of her favorites. I share the love of the Lilac and just got a new one to plant. Roses are my favorite though. We have a lot of different Japanese Maples too. The big one, I showed you.
