That’s fair enough. Like most of the free world, I’m a Ferrari fan as well. So if that’s what you have, it works as well.

Its gonna take a beat to get used to:

-No more Sauber
-Fucking "Cadillac" over other manufacturers past and maybe future like Lotus, Porsche, BMW
-22 cars on the track...really gonna be a shitshow on certain circuits even more, thankfully the cars are shrinking again, even if only slightly
-No more DRS
-Nore more ground effects
-Hamilton not being able to do shit the entire season (or most of it)...hope he re-energizes his soul and drive...and leadership at Ferrari listens and adjusts accordingly.
-The potential of RB, Merc, Ferrari, McLaren not being the top 4 in the new era...I said potential!
-Lando being the WDC...love him, but theres still better drivers who have suffered longer (especially looking at you Charles, but maybe also say Sainz) who are "more deserving" (based upon skill)
-Newey being a principal. I am expecting that to not go especially well...
-Not being on ESPN anymore here (for better or for worse, remains to be seen)

I ditched Hulu because of the ESPN bullshit. They fucked up the race recording constantly. I missed a lot of qualifying sessions because they pre-empted tennis or Sports Center for F1 and didn't move the F1 coverage to another station.

Not sure if I like this move to appletv. I don't think the value will be there for a lot of fans.

I agree, Sainz should have a WDC as should LeClerc, i see potential with some of the rookies. Hoping Hadjar doesn't fall to the Max Team mate curse, the kid has potential!

I think 2026 will be an interesting season, I think Audi will be kne to watch - Hulkenberg was on a charge at one point and set the fastest lap a few times.

Im intrigued by Cadlillac, their hypercars are next level, can they bring that power to F1? Who knows... I am expecting some over the top American Merch though hahaha

Charles and Carlos got hosed by Ferrari being Ferrari. Strategy and reliability kept them out of the fight last year.

I think Aston Martin will move forward next year on Fernando's back. That car is essentially going to be the RB22. Crossing my fingers that it will be Lance's final season. I'd like to see an Alonso resurgence. It's a shame he only has two titles.

Cadillac will be interesting to watch. I think Valtteri will be the stronger driver of the two. I feel like his ability to develop the car is better than Checo's just because of the team he was with.

I wish Lance was gone long ago. I love watching Fernando and he is still competitive like Lewis, but their best days are behind them. Im not sold on Newey as the principal.

AppleTV may or may not suck. Id rather it be there than Netflix at least. AppleTV has been making quality programs for a while, and while I rarely watch MLS on there, its supposedly not bad. They also produced the F1 movie which of course wasnt great but that was the direction and writing, not the production value which was actually top tier.

A few recent shows and things

1. Tried watching the 2002 movie "Babylon" with Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie...I was not very interested. Couldnt get through it...over 3 hours long...didnt even make it about 20 min.

2. Plur1bus. Only three eps in but its pretty good! Enjoying!

3. Stranger Things. Yeah its ok. Commented on it before. Some cool stuff, some lame stuff. Loved Vecna's "bowling ball" scene haha. Ill go down with the ship on this and finish it out but after season 2 or something it lost some of its appeal with some absolutely stellar moments of genius and lots of predictable lameness and plot armor. That said, I still have enjoyed each season actually.

4. Black Rabbit. I enjoyed. Good writing,a cting and direction overall. Same sort of vibe as Ozark if you liked that in terms of...grittiness, flawed humans etc

5. Alice in Borderland S3. I figured it was done after s2 so s3 was a let down but there were some interesting things. S1 is very fun though. Its kind of like Squid Game if you enjoyed that show.

6. "28 Years Later". I thought it was just ok. I love 28 days later. 28 weeks alter was entertaining but not amazing. 28 years...meh.

Otherwise, i am working my way through Shameless, West Wing...and s3 of True Detective. ( I saw 1, 2, 4).

Also going down with the Stranger Things ship. A mixed bag but when you're this far in...
Black Rabbit was quite good.
I haven' been able to grind through 28 Years Later. I just stopped...and can't even remember how far in I got. I enjoyed 28 Days Later but can't find my hook for this current one.

I recommend The Beast in Me. A pretty compelling mini-series: a rich sociopath, murder, sadism, trauma, flawed people, and a nosy writer. Claire Danes, Matthew Rhys, and Jonathan Banks are great. A lot of Claire Danes on the verge of tears or blubbering. Lol. But well done.
