SassySheDevil ~ Giving up the fight ~

We have a pretty good size lilac bush in our yard. Probably could see it in one of the pics of the yard.
Lots of different roses also. One is a small rose bush and the others are full size colored style. The boys and I have ran over two of them but they are growing back now. We put the metal funnel garden covers around them so we'll stop hitting them with the mower

I'm pretty sure my husband does that on purpose and then claims innocence. He killed two of my Lilacs up at the other house and said "I accidentally backed into them" :rolleyes:


I am sad today. I'm admitting defeat with my baby bunnies. I'm taking them to a wild life center today. They just don't want to eat from me and I don't want them to starve.
 
I like the roses, they were doing bad at the time when I took them out and were so low to the ground that I didn't even know that I had got them.

:( They had a lot of love I'm sure while you tried to help them. I always feel that wherever we take stuff like that, they will do everything they can to help them out.

Don't be sad. You did what you could, but Mother Nature can be a cold hearted bitch. Give yourself a pat on the back for trying. Keep in mind that rabbits breed like rabbits for a reason.

Well.... I guess ladies at wildlife centers can be cold hearted bitches also. You did good. I don't think it is ever wrong to try and help life. I'm giving you a big hug (in spirit).

Last year I helped my father-in-law clean out the barn...you might have remembered those pictures Sassyshedevil :D

There's just something about being outside taking care of chores like that...makes the day, at least to me, so much fun.

She made sure to tell me that I should have brought them in sooner, and not tried to feed them the stuff on "hack web sites" said I should. :rolleyes:

Yes, I do remember those pics. :D I do love spending time in the barn. It's fun watching the horse try and follow me around in hopes of some sort of treat. Eat away. :kiss:

Horses crack me up. When we were out at Nikki's parents house the horses kept following me around hoping that I would give them grass or treats. It was hilarious. :D

I'm glad you remember them, I miss that barn, it was awesome for taking pics in. :D

I enjoy using mine for pics too. Not many old barns like mine around anymore. :)
 
Any good therapy buys? I just got two web cams for our place up north. I'm happy :)
 
If it makes you feel good, then take care of the bunnies. That is pretty much the truth for everything.... if you hate it stop.... if it makes you happy... do more of it...LOL

It makes me feel good taking care of things period. That's just who I am. Being a mother is what I do best. Human or Animal.

:kiss: Thank you. I actually worked at a Vets office for over a year. My Vet told me I'd never make it as a Vet (went to school for veterinary assisting and grooming) If I didn't stop crying every time I had to assist in putting the animals to sleep. :eek:

LOL it was funny. I had to go and talk to 2 of my boys Aunt and Uncle last night and they are trying to help me put a hot poker under their ass, so while I was there the Uncle told me "either you need to quit doing everything for them, and make them work a little more for what they have, or I'll move in with you too"
says the man with the house so big, I'm sure mine could fit inside his. Probably both my houses put together. But it was pretty damn funny. I knew what he meant.
