Yank's Free Range Turkey Trot Warming House and Bondage Barn

Good point. I think that most people in the BDSM community tend to include all types of crops when they use the word "crop." while someone closely acquainted with different types, like those used for dressage and those for everyday use might distinguish between them. I have only used two types, both purchased at farm stores. They're both about 2 feet long. One has a paddle end that is almost square while the end on the other one is a folded strip of leather about 1 inch wide and perhaps 3 inches long. Someone with more expertise would probably give them more specific names, right?

This is ours, and I love it dearly. It was our first "together" toy, and I have a very long-term fondness for crops.

Personally, I think JT's has one of the best-made and widest variety of crop-type toys around, this side of a good tack shop. Very happy customer!

That's a handsome looking very versatile piece.

I think I bought one crop in a walk-in sex shop that didn't last very long. My others have all come from a farm and fleet store. Very inexpensive and very sturdy. I don't think I've paid more than $15 for a crop there.

That crop is quite............attractive.

Yeah, let's go with that! :p

I see they also list a Wartenberg wheel. What is the attraction of those things? Is it pain or just sensation? I'd think the latter, rather than the former.

Sensation, mostly, in a prickly sense. It can be even more entertaining when chilled, first. It's more intense over very sensitive bits, like nipples, clit, and (fair is fair) glans & frenum.

Cold? Yeeeeeees, I see the appeal.

Thank you very much! :)

Oh goodness, no need to get someone experienced, just go to a tack shop website and mosey around a bit. You'll soon figure out what's whats, and you may even find a few new toys too (a tack shop near me sells steel-shanks tawses... ouch!)

Definitely sensation, I love the intense sharp feeling they give with very little pressure, especially on sensitive areas. Haven't tried one cold, that's certainly something to think about, but I have experienced an insulated handled one during electroplay, and that is AMAZING!! :D

As a bottom I say "Yes!" :D

And they move fast so it is difficult to anticipate where it will travel as a bottom - an attribute some Tops like

I do love being a Switch ;)

I wonder how much a Wartenberg wheel differs from the wheel that seamstresses use to mark out the borders of a pattern when sewing? Does anyone know the kind of thing I mean? My mother used one quite a bit when she sewed many years ago. Assuming the resulting sensations are similar, a sewing and crafts store might be accessible to many folks and would provide a chance to check out the merchandise in person rather than relying on an online merchant. Imagine the prissy clerks looking askance as you use the wheel on your arm and grin with satisfaction.

Another thing that would work although not as well but something that people might already have on hand is one of those serrated pizza cutters.

I don't think I've ever used a pizza cutter that was serrated. All mine have been wheel knives. I do like how you think, though, as perverting ordinary household items for private use is one of my minor passions.

They're not very different. I would consider a tracing wheel as a Wartenberg lite. The points are shorter and further apart, and not as pointy.

Now, for handy kitchen pervertables, there's always this clever little strawberry huller, silicone spatulas, silicone basting brushes, and freezer balls.

Freezer balls sounds more like a condition an errant skiier might come down with
I had to check them out, never heard of them.

I have some that I have used for whiskey, though mine are cube shaped and not spherical. There is no way in Hell that I would let my whiskey cubes be used for anything but their intended purpose. Now, a SECOND set, on the other hand, might find an interesting resting place or two. :D

The Hellfire Club, off Broadway Plays featuring dirty words, crops and floggers, and now expertise on kitchen pervertables.

Perhaps you should consider starting your own thread? I can see it now; all of us sitting in a circle while you share perverted stories. You could call it Deserslave's Kinky Kuddles. Or BDSM Tales. Or...something! :p

I know I can honestly say that I've not led a boring life. :cattail:

I can honestly say the same, but mine focused more on negotiating the family crazies in order to reach adulthood! Picture alternative healers, pagan practitioners, hellfire preachers, nudists, survivalists, born-again christians, and, well, the list goes on. And on. And on.

I want to hear more about the FUN stuff! :D

Um, my great-grandmother was an accidental bigamist?

Accidental?

Her husband was a "traveling salesman" and she was a farmgirl. He DID marry her, visited during the pregnancy and after, for a little while, and then disappeared. She waited several years (I don't know what the requirement was for declaring abandonment back then) and remarried. A few years later she ran into her vanished husband on the street! I wish I knew how that conversation worked out.

Holy Moly! How...awkward?

so, the freezer balls i've never seen... however i've a full set of those ice sticks for water bottles... and a set of the re freezable ice cubes... the plastic ones for pic-nics...

and OMG DS i'd never thought of the strawberry huller.... you're amazing :rose: :D

happy weekend friends! :)

ROFL! The darn thing was a gift from my Mother a few years ago. I had the old flat tweezer-type (also from her, years ago). She swore the new one worked wonders. Yup! She was right!

She loved kitchen gadgets. Actually, I think it's more accurate to say she hoarded them. Some were pretty clever though! I swore we should buy stock in OXO. :D

Changing gears a bit. Does anyone remember Koosh toys? The wiggly conglomeration of round rubber bands? Well, there's a flogger for that! :D This is one of our very favorite 'warmup' toys. It has light sting, and can go up to a moderate thud. Fair warning, tails can catch on body jewelry and snap back at the wielder.
