My Sony phone blew up this morning!

I put it on charge and then it went 'POP' and began to make strange fizzing noises.
Ripped the charger out of the wall and the phone was hot as fuck!
I've heard of this happening, but never had one do this to me before. The battery and guts of the phone were melted.

Anyone else had a phone explode?

It's never happened to me personally, but I've heard of it happening often enough that it's concerning. The nature of LiPo batteries.

Have you ever seen what happens to a cell phone battery if it gets punctured? Let's just say that lithium polymer does not react subtly.

I know money is a little tight right now, but perhaps you should investigate retaining an exorcist prior to buying a replacement phone.

I have not beaten cancer...... I won't know if I have for a while yet.
It's far too soon. My radiation burn/dermatitis is still raw as, and I am completely bald on that spot (meaning I am maintaining the bald head until I know if the hair will grow back - 6-12 months from now.)

Aaaaannnndd......yesterday I dropped my new phone into water
Freak accident. I am usually so careful around liquid!
Immediately cleaned and buried in rice, but no go.
It does messages, and I can use it as a hotspot, but that's it.

Dammit - now I have to go find another one
