It pays well, and the reading doesn't happen much. Now if I took a few levels down, I could return to a file room and read most days![]()

*Waving from NY state*
I can see you. How is your day? 65 here and sunny. Rain has stopped and cleared out.
Windy as fuck! I've been pushed around by it, and I'm 245!
So, that is why we are cooling off tonight?
More than likely. Supposedly we're going to warm up to the 70s Monday, but then again, this is upstate NY, where Mother Nature hates us!
MO. The land if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes. ...
Upstate NY, where I've lived through ALL the major weather problems: hurricane, blizzard/N'orester, tornado...hell even a few earthquakes.
It's not unusual for me to be up at an aunt's camp an hour away, in the foothills of the Adirondacks, and watch as a thunderstorm come through and change the temp from 80s to the 40s in less than 20 minutes...then climb back to the 70s.
I understsnd. I live between 2 major rivers, so the thunderstorms get wicked! Plus, it is tornado alley. The rain, snow, ice does not bother me to drive in, but they call off scool here for the "threat"of snow. Wimps
I visited Texas when there were 2 inches of snow on the ground. Everything came to a grinding halt. I was out, driving my collegiate niece and her friends to the market when we were stopped by a cop. He asked me why I was out in "dangerous conditions." I looked at him and laughed. I produced my NY state license, he looked at it, and laughed too.
"This ain't shit to you, is it?" he said when he handed it back to me.
The market was open, and we were basically the only people in there LOL
My family owned food trucks when I was a child. I learned how to drive in all conditions. I taught all my friends, because I was the oldest and got the car first. Their parents thought I wss a good influence. Boy did I have them fooled. I was a straight a student who snuck your daughter out to see a band at a bar. Good times! I'm glad I am older.
