I don't hate cats; I just don't think they're the center of the universe. Plus, real ones make me sneeze in a most un-Domly manner.

E_N, if it helps in any way, I'm actually fond of metaphorical kitties. They're hypoallergenic.
 
Well I do hate cold oatmeal and VV movies can go either way (after all, he has had cameos, hasn't he? :p). Lonely coffee does not compute for me, but I can goes where you head is at... so sorry!

This makes me think of mornings I used to share with my grandpa at his lake house in southern MO. We were always the first ones up, before my grandma, brother, and dad. He would make a cup for both of us (even when I was a kid all the way through my teens), and I would grab the thick quilt from my bed and sit on the back porch with him and watch the morning mist rise up off the water.

I miss him 😢

Sharing coffee in the quiet morning before the world wakes up is such a wonderful experience.

One of the cats is torn between sitting by the stove and sitting on be so she is demanding I sit on the floor by the oven so she can sit ON me and BY the range. Pussy whipped?
