8 years ago I was just 14, now in 8 more years I'll be 30. I use to take time for granted, but now I realize how fast it goes. I can do a lot in 8 years. I gotta get my shit together. I'll be damn if I'm living my 30s like I did my early 20s.

You'll be 30 before you know it, smoove. Time is wasting, brother. I hope this isn't just talk.

Nah, it's sincere. It just hit me how old I'm getting, so I guess it's time to mature a little.

When I was your age I went into the military. I don't know what the requirements are now for acceptance, but if that's an option for you, you might consider it. You could wind up with a college education afterwards.

I think you got to have a GED. Plus I got tattoos, some are gang affiliated, but I doubt if they would know that.

You're getting your GED, right? You might check with a recruiter after you have it, see what the deal is now, for sure. One thing the military teaches you is responsibility. Among many other things. It'll change your life very quickly, if you get in.

What branch did you join? And lol, yeah I'm getting my GED.

Air Force.

If I do go, I wouldn't care what branch it is. I have been wanting to go just to get away from this life I'm living. If I do go tho, I want to fight. The problem is I think you have to do 4 years. And I don't want to be away from my kids that long.

Looking back, the four years I was in may very well have been the best four years of my life. Definitely the best four year stretch, in a lot of ways. Anyway, it's something for you to consider.

I'm calling it a night. Later, smoove.

When you are 4, one Christmas to the next represents 25% of your entire existence, so it takes a loooong time. At your age each year is only 5% of your life, so it goes by quicker. You will find that every single year goes by faster than the one before.

The good part of that is that if there is something you have to duck your head and gut out for a year, it is not big deal. The bad part is that it is easy to just have one year after another where you plod along and get nowhere. That gets discouraging.

Punk.

:)

With GED in hand, I went US Army at age 24. The six years matured me, took me through college, would have paid for medical school if I'd chosen that path. Now I'm an early-retired software engineer with easy life and happy family and all. I credit the Army stint for aiming me to responsibility. You could do worse.

I think it would do a lot for me. Help me get my priorities straight. But I'm afraid because I never responded well to authority. And my mans cousin was telling me about boot camp, and knowing me I might lash out. But if I don't, I think it will help me become a better person. And the best thing about it is I just can't wake up and quit.

It makes sense.

all about gettin your priorities straight.

I predict smooochie will have a cap in his ass one way or another within 2 years.

In 8 more years Gump will still be acting like he is 15.

Some things never change.

He makes a fine gynecologist, don't you think? He's all grown up now. *sigh*

If he could just cut down the need for selfies with every sick cunt he cures, he'd be a consultant in five years. And so gentle!
