Notes on beauty:

"Beauty is in the eye of the voter" is exactly how social scientists do it. There are attempts to find perfect facial characteristics, waist to hip measurements, and the like, but generally it's simply a matter of surveying a bunch of people as to whether a man or woman is attractive.

Men seem more homogenous when deciding that a woman is highly beautiful. Women seem more homogenous when deciding that a man is highly unattractive.

The Cheerleader Effect is a thing. People in groups look more attractive as the viewer simply takes in a bunch of features and averages them into something relatively good looking.

This works for groups of two. Simply being around someone conventionally good looking will make someone plain or even conventionally unattractive be perceived as better looking.

It's true that attractive women date men with money... but those women usually have money and those men usually are good-looking. Shockingly, people who are attractive and have a good job pick mates who are also attractive and have a good job.

Blind people also find some people beautiful. Partially blind people can perceive general figures and how people move. Those who have completely lost their sight judge people on how they walk, how they speak, breathing patterns, etc.

The charge is for a premium service, not the regular service, and there is tiered pricing depending on your age.

Tinder is also looking at advertising to generate revenue.
