It really wasn't a great concert. It was raining and there didn't see to be a lot of energy. Sorry to disappoint. Eric Clapton more disappointing.
That would have been me. Drunk, high...whatever it was it affected me and that lawn was nice.

The Stones at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas was the first concert I saw unimpaired. It was a much better experience. At least I remember it better..
Now I defo have to do a Part II. I forgot to put the artists from the 1st concert I went to.

I can't say how much I agree with you concerning pope Francis and the rest of the catholic church. Last month a priest here got officially reprimanded because he married a lesbian couple. The bishop wanted to remove him from his duties, his parish wanted him to stay. He wants to stay. At the moment it is a status quo.

These folks kill me...I look at this and I think What would Jesus do? Not this stuff. He'd be turning over the tables in the churches.

Yvonne Elliman! I really liked her singing, had a couple of her albums back in the late 70s. Then she dropped out of sight. I'll have to do some searching to see what she's up to and if there's a Best of CD out there.

I was raised Catholic but no longer hold to any of those teachings now. I was hoping for some changes for the followers too but I have to admit I am too jaded to really hope.

Very many priests and non-ordained people are opposite from the official lines though.

you know what sucked?...I went all my life to Catholic schools and had to have my cousin, a priest, hear my confessions. Can I say that masturbation was considered a sin back then. ...damn...that was a lot of confessing to do ..lol

Yep..ever see the rules on who can take communion? It's ridiculous. Letting people into your community and not letting them partake.
There's a huge crisis in the church which is logically and realistically easy to fix. Be more inclusive. Allow women in the clergy. Stop being anti everything.

The priests at my high school knew that they'd have no time at all to hear 1000 kids' confessions once a week if they taught that masturbation was a sin.
