My new washer got imstalled today, and I have just done my first load of laundry.
I am a happy OCD-chicka!
My clothes are literally sparkling :D

I can't believe how darn happy this makes me!

Next item on the list is a new fridge...

It makes me happy, but then you have the honeymoon period where you frantically try to keep it looking brand new, which really wears you out and then one day you walk in on it to find that it no longer cares to look its best for you and that you are doing all of the work in the relationship...

:(

Happy Valentines Day self-cleaning stove that only cleans itself when I force it to.

If your clothes are LITERALLY sparkling you should remove the glitter before you wash.

Hahaha!
I'm admiring my shiny new.Bosch front-loader while having my dinner.
And the deliveryman gave me a small box of chocolates when he came :)
A Valentines Day treat for all his deliveries, he said.

Too bad I don't eat milk chocolate!

I had a self-cleaning pyrolitic oven that couldn't be bothered as well
But I got a halogen table-top oven and now all normal ovens look at me with disgust.

I go for old appliances that require no electricity. Perculators, hand drills, ice cream churns, etc.

I can sit and watch my front loading HE washing machine for hours. It seems so happy and alive.

I splurged and bought a top-of-the-line front loading washer in January (the best time of the year to buy one, btw...always on sale after Christmas!).

What amazes me is how quiet they are nowadays!

I bought a brand spanking new KPM5 KitchenAid for $699 today. So stoked. It's pretty rad. Red.

A lot of women stopped me to ask how much.

Like, for the KitchenAid.

I have envy in my heart right now. I love KitchenAid and I'm saving up for one. Enjoy it!!

I do even when it is new-to-me appliances.

I still smile at my dishwasher every time I use it and I might use it more than I should. Also, my gift dryer which I recently fixed. Then there is my funky Chinese washing machine... Yep, having gone without all of these things some for long periods of times, they excite me.

I have really and truly considered getting an ice cream churn rather than a new electric machine. I'm still not entirely convinced that I shouldn't.

Ooooh congrats! It will change your life!

P.S.- The KitchenAid Secret Club meeting starts in an hour. Bring some egg whites. ;)

Here's hoping you can get one soon! I saved five years of Target gift cards from Christmas and birthday for mine. I adore it.

I have a designer working on plans for a kitchen reno this summer, and we were looking at appliances. She was showing me all these nice Viking appliances and I got a semi... then I thought, "I'm selling this dump, why should I spend all that money on someone else's Kitchen?"

So we pulled out the Whirlpool catalog.

I just got some new windows, and still excited about them.....yeah, windows

I got no problems with new appliances...

...as long as they don't send a "nigger" or a "darkie" to deliver them.

Good choice

Since you are happy with your Bosch washer then you will love their dishwasher as you will hardly know it is running it is so quiet. Even after 15 years our Bosch dishwasher is still real quiet. Right now I am looking at LG stoves as the one I have now the oven thermostat has given out. I still have to look at what Bosch has to offer.
