I just read that Amazon has produced and distributed a new TV series about the character Harry Bosch created by Michael Connelly the ex cop from LA. Over the years I have really gotten hooked on his mysteries and crime novels. Anyone else?

I...

...don't think I've read any of the Bosch stuff.

I've read Void Moon, Chasing the Dime and a few other titles.

I definitely have enjoyed the books of Mr. Connelly that I've read, he can indeed spin a good and interesting yarn.

Its not typically my type of reading but I got hooked and read most everything I could find. Seems like a good premise for a tv show.

I'm a big Connelly fan.. Tho I much prefer the Mickey Haller books. I just read the Fifth Witness for a second time.. But each of the Haller ones are really good, IMO.

The Bosch ones are good, but not as imo.

Admitedly I'm a bit of a dunce. How does one get programming from Amazon?

In regards to...

... Amazon, they offer "Prime Instant Video" similar to Netflix or Hulu, it's a pay service to watch tv and movies. They also "Prime Music" which is for tunes.

The video option is $99 a year, however, I believe Amazon offers a free month's trial.

Hope this helps.

might be interesting, though i'm generally not big on american-produced cop stuff (is amazon american?)

i've read some of his books:

The Scarecrow
The Poet
The Lincoln Lawyer
The Narrows
City of Bones
Blood Work

enjoyed them all and will read more of his stuff.

You really need to read The Fifth Witness and God's Of Guilt.. Two of his very best IMO..
