Premise: The year is 2014 and the covert team of young superhero operatives known as the Young Avengers has been disbanded since the events of the secret invasion. A few years has passed since then. The team is brought together once again only after the death of one if its founding members. Elijah Bradley. Under the leadership of one Kate Bishop - codename Hawkeye, the team is reassembled to investigate the mysterious death of their late comrade Patriot and a string of other super-related deaths arising within the community. Just who or what is responsible for these deaths?

I want to go with a divergent story in a new mostly original setting, so this won't be 100% source material we're working with here , as much as a new universe all onto itself.

I'm looking for interested parties to play other prominent marvel or original characters. This is a friendly roleplay for newcomers and veteran fans alike.

Personality: The American panther is what some would call a brash personality but views himself as a free thinker and individualist above all else. He is your typical solo player doing what he must to advance his cause . He has no qualms about using coercive tactics or lethal force if he thinks it will benefit the collective good but is wary of organizations like the military and congress that employ the young and downtrodden to carry out "patriotic" duties. He can be quite self-assure and introspective and is somewhat of a cynic at heart. At his core, he is a soldier but unlike other soldiers, he's operating out of his own code/ideology.

Bio:
Sam was fifteen, living in Arizona with his parents and little sister when he first put on the helmet. HIs father was a drunk who used to go on and on about his 'supposed' life as a Nova Centurion, often skipping out on his duties. Sam came home from school one day to find his father missing and accidentally wound up in the hospital.

When he woke up Gamora and Rocket Raccoon were in the hospital room with him, holding Sam's father's Nova Corps helmet and confirming that Sam's father was indeed a member of the Nova Corps. After angering Rocket (Sam called him a Raccoon) and being shot at he was returned to his room by a nurse who assured him it was all a dream. He found the helmet under the hospital bed while Gamora and Rocket were nowhere to be found.

Sam initially throws the helmet away, but after it lights up and makes noise he puts it on to see a distorted message from his father. When the message ends he removes the helmet to find himself in the air, falling into parked cars. Gamora and Rocket eventually begin training Sam in the use of his powers before Sam sets off on his own adventures.

Due to his abilities and experiences Sam can be very arrogant.
