Why do we still elevate men who cheat on their wives. Men like Bill Clinton and Martin Luther King, Jr. are held in such high regard despite their un-faithfuness to their women. Why do we think that that would be honest with us when they couldn't be honest with their women? Why are we willing to simply overlook this? I know bill went through hell for his dalliance, but now, it's all good. It wasn't talked about much in MLK's day. Being a reverend, I wonder how he reconciled his behavior. You don't HAVE to give in to weakness, you know. I'm just a schmo, and I couldn't find time to have an affair even if I wanted to. Where do these big shots find the time? I mean, these were important, apparently busy men. I don't get it.
