We are a hetero couple, writing as a team.

We want to explore writing from within each other's gender and mind and soul. Sometimes we will speak with her voice, sometimes with his.

We intend to instigate fun, trouble, and passion with each other. Mostly it's about the pleasure of writing and sharing our private life with people who might understand.

At first it will be a few paragraphs here and there in the AH. When we're ready, we'll write stories and post them.

Please be kind. If you are, we'll write more.

Welcome. And have fun. :)

Welcome to the madhouse.

Minimum story length is 750 words if you haven't found that yet. Stories need to be posted through the submission system. A few lines or paragraphs here is fine though.

You'll find some helpful people around.

Welcome to the AH or Madhouse. Have fun.

And whatever you do, don't submit to Loving Wives unless you both have really thick skins. ;)

Bright neon signs are pointing to the above.

Welcome to the AH and have a blast. Most people hereabouts are friendly enough. Don't feed the trolls.

wish you well

Welcome, WC94.

I tend to write my stuff using Word, and then copy/paste it when I'm ready to submit (which always strikes me as a BDSM reference, BTW. Why do we always have to submit? Why can't we enter?)

Ahem. When I was a kid, I didn't submit. I damn well entered when I wanted to.

The average Literotica page is around 3,700 words; so if you're looking for a two page story, plan on writing about 7,500 words. But with that said, I think you should let the story tell itself, rather than planning on a specific story length. You can always edit to adjust the length later, should you feel the need.

It takes about 2 to 3 days for a story to be approved.

As you write more, the scores for your earlier stuff will climb. The reason is that people that like your newer stuff will seek out and read your earlier stuff, and score it highly; while people that don't like your newer stuff won't seek out your earlier stuff, and hence won't score it at all. The moral is, more stories equates with higher scores.

Peace be unto you. Now, go forth and make each other squirm in bed. I'm watching.

Theyre great! I buy all their records and own all 7 of their autobiographies.

Some advice:
1. Know what your goals are. If you are writing something that is a fantasy that turns you on, it may not turn on other readers and that's great. If you are trying to improve your writing, then know that scores are somewhat related to story quality
2. Post your story in the right category. The readers in each category have certain expectations for stories and if you don't meet those expectations, you aren't going to get a good reception even if you have a good story. See the Bard's Review Thread for a discussion of this issue as it pertains to particular stories
3. It's good to have an editor for your stories but it's tough to get an editor when you are starting out. It's probably best to publish some stories and then hope that someone who likes your stories will volunteer to edit for you
4. Once you have posted a story, there is a "Story Feedback" forum for getting feedback on the story
5. One thing I dislike that I see a lot of is starting a story with many paragraphs of the background of one or two characters. There is a huge number of stories on this site and if a story starts too slowly, I'll hit the back arrow and move on
