I can't think of another profession that vehemently demands to be exempted from oversight than law enforcement.
As the commie Mayor shows up in a pro-police costume he never wore in real life. Little is said about his massive hypocrisy present in his anti-police election campaign.![]()

Deflect, distract, and move the goalposts. We're talking about cops flagrantly disobeying their superior. You approve of that?
If that superior is a hypocrite and world class asshole such as the mayor, yes. But, in what way did they actually disobey him. They showed their contempt, but that is their right.
Politicians certainly do. So do lawyers and clergy members and judges.
And you think the funeral of a dead cop is the place for this kind of stunt, do you?
How did they disobey? Was there a direct order given?
He did not "instruct" them, he did not order them...he pleaded withe them. This is part of what he said:
“I issue no mandates and I make no threats of discipline,” the memo said. “But I remind you that when you don the uniform of this department, you are bound by the tradition, honor, and decency that go with it.”
That is not an order to do anything.

You would, because you probably gave one in your life. If it was an order it had no teeth:
“I issue no mandates and I make no threats of discipline,” the memo said. “But I remind you that when you don the uniform of this department, you are bound by the tradition, honor, and decency that go with it.”
An order is a mandate, and in almost all scenarios, carries the threat of discipline for not carrying it out.
Dodged this one again.
