Why are Moses and Rameses white?

Mediterranean civilizations had dealings with each other long before Alexander was born and started conquering the rest of the world

I'm aware of that, especially the Greco-Persian wars. But that happened long after the last Ramses was in his sarcophagus.

never seen a black person with light hair
if it happens, is rare imo

It's not rare at all, I just told you how the genetics work. I have no idea why you think it is. That's... an odd statement.

Natural hair comes in all shades. My gf is black and she's a natural redhead. It's not Celtic red, it's a burgandy, but it's red as fuck. It's around this color: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/9f/47/34/9f473494eaee7f885d04468139faa7ec.jpg

But she dies it black because she's got a small case of the goth. Not as bad as I do. Like it's not full blown goth, but it's got worse since we've been living together. I think she's getting worse because she's catching it from me.

But yeah, natural hair comes in all colors.

To anyone who addressed me:

I was showing the blonde dark-skinned people just to show that there are black people who naturally have blonde hair

in response

to Vetteman's first photograph

of mummies with blonde hair and then presuming

that they are white, alluding to the presence of the blond hair.

All people with dark skin

originated from Africa.

It doesn't matter the time period or where they settled.

It is just proof that JUST because someone has blonde hair

it doesn't mean they were white.

So this was to contrast vetteman's implications that because there were mummies with blonde hair

they are white. False.

People always do this. When it's convenient, separate this black ethnicity from the other.

Any other time, "they are all niggers so what difference does it make?" Ugh.

All people with any hue skin come from Africa tho... so that's a weird statement.

That's true, but there was little interaction between Greece and Egypt during the time even of Ramses XI.

So you're saying the Ramses II portrait that Tou posted was wrong? But how can that be? It was posted by the same guy who genuinely believed the shroud of Turin was real!

true hair color comes in different shades but among black people it is dark, light hair color is rare among them

Why do you keep bringing up greece?

It's really not, but you seem determined to think that, so whatever.

Just when I think you may not be an idiot or a liar you come up with some shit like this. The reconstruction I posted of Ramses II was based on his mummy, dumbass, so is very unlikely to be wrong. And I have never said the Shroud of Turin is "real" you fool. I have said it could be an authentic relic from the time of Christ. Could be, idiot.

I expressed disagreement with Post 19 and it has wandered afar from there.

Actually, I just reverse Google Imaged this and it was done by an amature artist, not an Egyptologist as an exercise in bone structure. They provide a step-by-step tutorial on the artist message board wetcanvas.

Huh, interestingly enough, actual Egyptologists did do a facial reconstruction tho, wherein they admitted that it's difficult to tell skin tone from the sample they had.

I'm thinking about becoming trans-black, embrace my African roots.

That's a piss poor job, if you ask me. What's with the fucking hair? It's nothing like the hair on the mummy.

That was the style at the time, for both stylistic and hygienic reasons. You had to know that.

This is gonna be the shroud all over again, isn't it, honey?

That's what his hair would have looked like when he was alive. Pharos shaved except for the one lock and wore wigs. He wouldn't have let his hair grow until he was so sick he could no longer groom himself properly. That was the style at the time, and how he would want to be remembered. Not that many people would have seen his hair anyway, because it would have always been covered by wigs and headdresses. And if it WERE red, he would have dyed it black, because Set had red hair and it was associated with douchebaggery. Egyptians, believe it or not, were actually very anti-redheads because they were associated with the god Set who was the god of things like storms, confusion, and general dickery. Again, this is all shit you should already know if you're gonna be talking Ancient Egyptian fashion. At least you didn't claim to be an art history expert in this thread.

How the fuck is there a Nigel Thornberry meme for everything EXCEPT pharos!? IT WOULD BE PERFECT HERE!
