The main reason is because it's a 200 million dollar flick that needed A-list stars to help make that money back. Can you name any Egyptian A-list stars that have the kind of pull to draw in enough viewers to make a profit. The only A-list actor of color that I can think of that also happens to be in the right age range is Will Smith.

If this was a 10-20 million dollar flick,they could probably get away with Naveen Andrews from Lost or maybe Sendhil Ramamurthy from Covert Affairs.

There is zero reason to believe Moses and Ramses were not Caucasian in appearance. From all accounts Moses was Hebrew, and this is the mummy of Ramses:

My sister and mother were just talking about this last night, because my sister is a History major and has interned at museums here in our city. And she is always talking about...innovate ways to renew artifacts, paintings, sculptures... So, I don't care what it looks like. People call the Pyramids a world wonder. But did these invasions happen during the time of Moses? They did later, but did the invasions you mention happen while Ramses was pharaoh. I know he attacked at least one of his neighbors - Hatti.

It's not at all clear that slaves built the pyramids in Egypt. My guess is most of them didn't have blond hair and blue eyes, but there is little evidence they were slaves.

Your guess? Okay...let's use our brains here. The common person in Egypt now, in global cities like Alexandria and Cairo, don't even have blondes there and many of them have Persian and South European and Mediterranean mixes. So...okay. My ex is also Irish. He studies ethnography and told me that the reason the Gaelic Irish have dark features

is because they were nomads from Morocco, into Spain , Portugal and Iberia, from the Galicians. And then settled in Northern Europe with the Vikings and Celts.

I mention this because here you have a group of white people with North African and South European ancestry, and they have dark features often. And the Arabs and other people who are always seen on the news living in Cairo, for example, are very mixed with the same things. And they don't even have blonde hair. The blonde gene will also depreciate overtime. There are also black people who naturally grow blonde hair...
