So when is this "Honest" discussion regarding race relations goint to occur?

lol I know right. No, he's being obnoxiously bigoted. Mama probably didn't hug him growing up and his dad probably punked him all the time.

so, big pussy.....what are people in communities of color called:confused:

Take a good look at the application for any govt. job.
Colored people get the same preference as the vets.
I don't think some of the people in this discussion has ever had a job.

1. No, there are no preferences given to anyone except for vets.
2. Your grammar is terrible: people is plural, so has is wrong. It should be have.
3. Time for you to stop watching Faux News and listening to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Alex Jones. You're back in the 1950s South.

I have filled out too many applications and know better.
Sorry if you cannot understand what I am saying.
How are you able to argue when you don't know what I said?

I've interviewed many people in the last two years.
I've interviewed people for state and federal positions.
I cannot give preference to anyone, not for their skin color, religious beliefs (or lack of), age, or sexual preferences. I can only give preferences to those that I feel have the education background and/or work experience to the jobs.

You're bigotry is astounding. Your hatred for those not like yourself is showing.

You are not high enough in the hiring process.
If you do not know about the point system you may not be the best person for the job you do have.

You're talking like someone that's making excuses for not being hired. Point system? Lay off the Alex Jones website!

So... THIS is what an "honest" discussion looks like?

Maybe that's why we haven't had one.

Govt. employees are hired through a point system. When there is a job opening the people with the most points are called in for an interview.

I have been very lucky. I could always find a good job when I wanted one.
My education helped a lot. Experience played a part also.

And I don't work for the government. I help with the hiring of temporary technical employees to a few government offices, one of which the people have to go through an FBI background check first. When I send their resumes and my personal information through, race is NEVER told. You must have your information from the 1950s if you believe race is still used in hiring practices.
