Several years ago, there was a story challenge to insert various Lit General Board posters into historical settings.

Challenge made, challenge accepted.

I wrote a scenario where SilvaTungDevil (a black man) met a young Martin Luther King, Jr.

Vetteman considers this story "racist".

I'm curious as to what others think.

The entire thread is a repeat post. Not only is the post he is referencing a repeat, he made the argument in another thread just today.

Since Robbie is confused about his privilege in freely using racist tropes, I figured this would be a fine thread to bump every time he does it.

If I wanted to make a career of it, I could find hundreds of examples of Robbie's various anti-semitic/racist/homophobic/misogynist screeds. These were collected over a couple of days only specific to his denigration of blacks.

The analogy you are grasping for is Uncle Tom's Cabin. In Huck Finn it is not used pejoratively. In Uncle Tom's Cabin it is.
