2014 Negro Hunting Season in Missouri

There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs – partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.

Everyone should watch 'The Butler' and hold hands and see how much race relations have changed in the US in one person's lifetime.

You are 100% correct, that fact the black fathers are absent from the household has no bearing on how the child matures into a man. As far as dems go, keeping the black family destroyed is just another way to keep them on the plantation.
WTF?
Did you get a black eye from your knee jerk response?

And your anecdotal post puts you firmly in the "I argue like an eighth grader" category.
Obviously you don't know what a blanket statement is, like, "With a dad in the home boys don't become wayward in the first place"

That's the problem with blanket statements, it only takes a single event to make the statement false.

Breaking: 10 shots fired?!

The FBI has questioned a man who says he recorded audio of gunfire at the time Brown was shot by Ferguson police on August 9, the man's attorney told CNN.

In the recording, a quick series of shots can be heard, followed by a pause and then another quick succession of shots.

Forensic audio expert Paul Ginsberg analyzed the recording and said he detected at least 10 gunshots -- a cluster of six, followed by four.

"I was very concerned about that pause ... because it's not just the number of gunshots, it's how they're fired," the man's attorney, Lopa Blumenthal, told CNN's Don Lemon. "And that has a huge relevance on how this case might finally end up."

I would have thought it would be the other way around.

4 shots, of which 2 or more miss, as brown is fleeing.
6 shots after Brown stops, faces Wilson and rushes him (or whatever took place).

Why can't #ThosePeople just #ActCivilized?

Whatever happened to the Warning Shot?...is that just for white folks?
From a standstill an attacker can reach you in about 1.5 seconds from 21' away, about 2 seconds from 32'.
Would the average person have time to fire a warning shot, pause, determine the person hasn't stopped then fire enough to stop them in less that 1.5-2 seconds?

If someone is attacking you, only an idiot would fire a warning shot.

Not to mention the risk to bystanders from a warning shot.

How long to reach you if they're running away?

The Coast Guard uses warning shots...

;)

Doc Holiday never did.

The Coast Guard certainly does. I've got a friend on facebook who tells stories about them, he runs a drug-interdiction cutter. Warning shots are effective 90% of the time.

He told me one time he fired a warning shot from the twin fifty calibers at a boat, who made the big mistake of firing a shot back. The druggies were rewarded with getting raked at the waterline with a steady stream of 50 caliber lead. Absolutely ruined their day.

Black man should start selling drugs in boats and live longer!

Black folks don't swim!

(Seriously, an African American friend of mine who attended the Air Force Academy said the remedial swimming class there looked like "an underwater version of the Million Man March")

This offends me - I can swim. learned when I was 5. What next, black folks don't work? Don't read?

Gee, I wonder who fell for the "Orbital Eye Socket Blowout" story?
Roll Call!
Local St. Louis sources said Wilson suffered an “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket.”
... the cop may have had an orbital fracture.
Indirect orbital floor fracture ("blowout fracture"). This occurs when the bony rim of the eye remains intact, but the paper thin floor of the eye socket cracks or ruptures. This can cause a small hole in the floor of the eye socket that can trap parts of the eye muscles and surrounding structures. The injured eye may not move normally in its socket, which can cause double vision. Most blowout fractures are caused by an impact to the front of the eye from something bigger than the eye opening, such as a baseball, a fist or an automobile dashboard.

Approximately 2.5 million traumatic eye injuries, including eye socket fractures, occur each year in the United States. About 85% of these injuries happen by accident, during contact sports, at work, in car crashes or while doing home repair projects. About 15% are caused by violent assaults. Men suffer from traumatic eye injuries about four times more often than women do. The average age of the injured person is about 30. The source of the injury is usually a blunt object -- baseball, hammer, rock, piece of lumber -- and the most frequent place of injury is the home. At one time, eye injuries were common in motor vehicle accidents, usually when a victim's face struck the dashboard. Such eye injuries have decreased dramatically because more cars have airbags, and most states have laws mandating the use of seat belts.
Out of curiosity, if you were hit hard enough to give you an orbital blowout fracture, would it affect your decision-making capabilities?
There was no reason to withhold a lot of the information that was withheld, such as the orbital blowout, etc.
This would seem to be the important part:
The officer who fatally shot an unarmed Ferguson youth suffered a fracture to his eye bone in a scuffle with Michael Brown, according to a family friend.
The cop is said to have severe facial injury and that brown was attacking the officer in his car, going for his gun, then charging the officer in a rage.
I'd like to see a picture and a report from the attending physician of that “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket,” ....
According to this article the injury to officer Wilson was confirmed by the St. Louis PD.
Then there is the injury to the officer himself, an injury that could have only occurred from an up close struggle with the decedent.

Now do a "wait for the facts" roll call to see how many of the same posters warned us of jumping to premature conclusions that support our favored narrative.

The list above reads like a Wingnut Nation Hall of Fame, plus assorted hanger-ons.

I wonder if any of them will admit they were wrong? In the original debunking article, it indicated Wingnut Nation was "doubling down on the Derp" and refusing to accept the reality.
