Super Sized Lib Michael Moore Slams Obama: History Will Only Remember You Were A Black President…
You’re in trouble now, Barack, you’ve made a powerful (and very hungry) enemy.
Via THR:
Michael Moore sees President Obama’s legacy as set. The progressive documentary filmmaker couldn’t help but express his disappointment with the legislative accomplishments of the politician.
“When the history is written of this era, this is how you’ll be remembered: he was the first black president,” Moore said during a discussion at The Hollywood Reporter’s video lounge at the Toronto Film Festival.
“OK, not a bad accomplishment, but that’s it,” the director said. “That’s it, Mr. Obama. 100 years from now, ‘he was the first black American that got elected president’ and that’s it. Eight years of your life and that’s what people are going to remember. Boy, I got a feeling, knowing you, that — you’d probably wish you were remembered for a few other things, a few other things you could’ve done.”
First black president of America. But at least history will remember him, unlike us.
Michael Moore is a racist.
NAH, HE’LL BE REMEMBERED FOR BEING A FUCK-UP, TOO: Michael Moore: A hundred years from now, Obama will only be remembered for being the first black president.
Also, although — as I predicted — Obama’s portrayal has gotten steadily “blacker” as his problems have mounted, I expect a post-term revisionism that will stress his privileged white background, concluding that he wasn’t a “real” black President at all. Expect this to peak around 2025 -2030.
His second term was because blacks and guilty white liberals were not going to under any circumstance fire the "black" guy, but you are right: after he leaves office and the collateral damage is analyzed, they will quietly all say that "they" always had their doubts about his background and heritage, and that he didn't improve the lot of blacks because he was actually an ivy-league "white privileged" elitist that couldn't relate to what it really means to be Black in America.
