Good news just out on the economy!

For those who can find work, need to work 2 part time jobs to get by, and Obama says the recovery is doing well.

He could create at least 20,000 jobs by approving the Keystone pipeline, but he won't..... he hates oil.

Obama needs to be impeached for lack of performance on all fronts.....but he will not, for the cries of racism will be loud and clear.
WTF? Pipelines eliminate jobs. They don't need to load, drive and unload vehicles when they can just send it down a pipe. The only jobs created are the crews that have to clean up when the pipe ruptures.

They play their little games, extol their little victories.
When you point out that there are less man-hours worked total? Silence.
Less wags cumulatively? Silence.
Less money per worker? Silence.
Less actual workers receiving a paycheck? Silence.
Actual economics is like gravity. You cannot defy it.
It is like watching the floor program in gymnastics watching them bend and contort and try.
Doesn't matter. If the sea rises another 2mm and the mercury another half a degree we are all dead anyway.
Innumeracy. Why can't lil Johnny figger?

Awww, look! A variation on Vetty's little "#But..But..U-6!" whining.

Wingnut Nation can't #refudiate the main indicator of economic job health in America, the U-3 unemployment rate: try as they might, the U-3 number does not support their warped view of reality.

So they are content to bitch and moan about obscure economic indicators, those that match their #PreconceivedPoliticalBias

Building pipelines creates a lot of high paying jobs. Temporary sure, but your kind is all about "jumpstarting the economy" with projects, right? Just has to be government dime?

Pipes rupture? Rarely.

...because trucks don't jack-knife and trains don't derail?

Why do you hate the environment? Why do you want to exacerbate global warming?

You do know the pipeline uses less energy to transport the energy, right?

#ImpeachTehNegar again? Still #butthurt over the 2012 elections, Garby?

#GetOverIt

p.s. the pipeline would create 35 permanent jobs or so.

pipelines are evil

they will take away from the oil being transported on HUSSEIN obama's boi, W Buffets trains

a) refudiate is not a word
b) #StillNotHasTagEnabled
c) main indicater? Really? How economically illiterate are you?

How many people ACTUALLY employed is an OBSCURE economic indicator?

DECREASING median income is an OBSCURE economic indicator?

Whether the jobs are full or part time is irrelevant?

You are world class in your either willful ignorance or honest stupidity.

This is why the LL is so poor at economics. They simply don't understand Econ 101.

Even the unions understand Econ better than the pols.

While environmentalists might be pleased with the Obama administration’s decision to further delay approval of the Keystone XL pipeline until after the elections, unions are not.

“This is once again politics at its worst,” said Terry O’Sullivan, general president of the Laborers’ International Union of North America. “In another gutless move, the administration is delaying a finding on whether the pipeline is in the national interest based on months-old litigation in Nebraska regarding a state level challenge to a state process — and which has nothing to with the national interest.”

Labor unions have generally supported building the Keystone XL pipeline, which would bring oil from Canada to refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast. Supporters argue the project would create thousands of jobs — jobs unions sorely need.

How many permanent jobs are created from a "shovel ready" project like a bridge you absolute moron?

You know the economy is doing pretty good if the right wing whackadoodles are reduced to whining about the Keystone pipeline.

Yes, I fucking hate the environment. The air is really bad around here, and it's too hot. Somebody needs to pay for screwing it all up.

Pipes rarely rupture, so those cleanup crews would only be part-timers.

how about you pro-workin' man...pro union...pro "all of the above energy policy" pro environment, pro "renewable energy", anti-agri-business, anti-GMO types take a stab at defending ethanol.

I'll wait.

And it takes two part-time jobs to get by, as if that was something new.

And it takes two part-time jobs to get by, as if that was something new.

so a growing trend on that is an obscure economic indicate "Nothing new"...but you agree with rob that an easily manipulated meaningless number related to just the people that are right now this week applying for unemployment is a main economic indicator and you are going to advise hedge-fund managers where to place their bets based on the u3 number alone?

And it takes two part-time jobs to get by, as if that was something new.

One statistic from the jobs report you'll never see Queerbait acknowledge:
The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks or more) declined by 192,000 to 3.0 million in August. Over the past 12 months, the number of long-term unemployed has declined by 1.3 million.

Pretty soon, there will be no excuse for the hardcore unemployed like Vetty, Ishmael and AJ not to have a job.

So anything positive is a "main economic indicator" to use your meaningless term but every other indicator to the contrary is meaningless?

What you will never acknowledge is you don't know shit from shinola about economics.

Many people, especially the "kewl kids" you've been trying curry favor with (AJ, Miles, Vetty, etc) have been obsessin' over the plight of teh long-term unemployed for years now.

Funny thing, though, since the number has fallen 25% or more in the past year they seldom mention it anymore.

One explanation might be that they, like you, simply cannot acknowledge any positive economic news that occurs during the Obama administration, as it would have a detrimental effect on Operation #ImpeachTehNegar.

The economy sucks, 85% of college grads are moving back to Mom and Dads house.

The percent teen unemployment ranges from the high teens to the low 40's.

100's of thousands of adults are unemployed or under employed.

And you say the economy is pretty good? The economy sucks.

Edit:... at one time you could collect unemployment for 26 weeks....under Obama it went up to two years.....then allowed to go on the disability list....The economy sucks.

So...put you down for "no answer" to any of my queries as well?

I have addressed each and every one of your points. I will address this minor one as well. When unemployment benefits cease, people take part time or low paying jobs. This has been studied at length. It is why 99 weeks scheme was thought correctly to exacerbate that number.

You need to reload some talking points. It appears you are out.

#Refudiating the "85% of college grads" #HerpADerp

The percent teen unemployment ranges from the high teens to the low 40's.
Meanwhile, unemployment for white males ("the only demographic that matters" - Vetteman) is a mere 5.7%

100's of thousands of adults are unemployed or under employed.

As I mentioned earlier, even the hardcore unemployed number is dwindling...pretty soon even Ish, AJ and your beloved Vetty might find work.

And you say the economy is pretty good? The economy sucks.

The economy is improving every single month. I know how that must vex you.

All signs point to the US economy being in a long upswing for the next 2+ years.

The economy will probably be doing really well in time for the next pres election.

No doubt this will piss of the Republicans, because Obama's Results will be hard to deny.

#AnotherQueerbaitLie

Point me to a single one of your invalid points that I did not address.

Point me to a single one of my points that you actually addressed.

Are you stalking teen-girl facebook profiles again? I only hear of that group hashtagging everything.
