And who should they gun down instead? Statistically blacks are going to be shot by police at a rate of 4x their representation of the population. The number is unavoidable based on their representation in the commission of violent crime. The only crimes in which their representation roughly approximates their portion of the population is rape/sexual assault. (Source, FBI UCR)

Tasers are situationally effective. They seem to work best on school children and those resisting arrest without violence.

So, tell us all how Wilson should have endangered bystanders by firing a warning shot. Who's life would you want him to risk? A child? Teenager? Middle aged person? Elderly person? Pick one. Or maybe you'd want him to fire a shot or two in to the air so we'd never know who he killed with his warning shot. Or maybe fire it in to the road so the ricochet would end up somewhere close.

To be from further north than where I was born I'd have to be from the Arctic Circle.
To be further north than where I've lived most of my life I'd have to have been living in Canada.
