New Witness to Michael Brown Shooting

Why are the riots escalating as opposed to diminishing? Perhaps it's because more and more evidence and testimony is surfacing corroborating the officers narrative. That would most certainly inflame those who've invested all of their emotional and political capital in the "unarmed black child shot in the back, execution style, while surrendering by rabid white cop" narrative. Just a thought.

....or....you took a handful of peyote buttons about 30 minutes before posting, which would help explain the logic.

The facts are not going to be given to the public in totality right off the bat, they never are. There is an investigation going on. The facts will be given to a grand jury. They are not going to try the case in the press and taint the jury pool.

When the jury pool, or potential jury pool, is being tainted by people who want you convicted of murder, you are wise, in my opinion, to fight back. I know I would.

Officials never release all of the facts or evidence when a criminal investigation in underway. How do you think investigators test the veracity of witnesses?
Who said anything about releasing all the facts?
"We have 12 corroborating witnesses" would in no way be a "release of all of the facts".
Nice try at moving the goal posts.

I also notice that the eye socket fracture hasn't been reported by a single news agency. At least none that I can find. So there's no real public evidence of that either.

BREAKING REPORT: Officer Darren Wilson Suffered “Orbital Blowout Fracture to Eye Socket” During Mike Brown Attack

Aha. I figured there must be something like this making the cop and his attorney more confident of his situation than it appeared he should be. But I still question why this information was not made public sooner.

As I stated in the one of the Zimmerman threads, by going after Martin when told not to by the 911 dispatcher.
That's all I'll say about it in this thread.

He didn't continue "going after" Martin after being told it wasn't necessary.

I should have said, "As ever". More subtle micro-aggressions, yet still persistent. There are still major disparities in the justice system, education, employment, and housing that continue to exist. For a while progress was being made, but they are quietly being set back and the wealth gap is increasing.

Let's pretend to believe that police corruption no longer exists under the Blue Code of Silence. For example, during the Rodney King beating case, the LAPD officers involved claimed the beating was lawful, yet it was not until the incident was released that it showed that the cops fabricated their stories. Then you have the Federal General Accounting Office (GAO) which found growing evidence of police involvement in drug sales and theft of drug money, including perjurized testimony of illegal searches. I do not believe all cops are villains, but it is not far-fetched to say that there are SOME who are corrupt and go unpunished by the law. It's not about a lynch mob mentality, it is about seeking justice.

Blacks have the largest high school dropout rate of any ethnic group it the country. Thus the least education as a whole. This keeps them from having a larger role in the justice system as it requires a very good education. Also housing, jobs and wealth are earned. You have to be able to earn enough to BUY decent housing, it isn't a right to be given to them. Jobs are earned by placing yourself against the others applying for the same job and being the best choice. Is there still some discrimination? Sure there is but not as much as people say and you can't fight it by dropping out and blaming others, you fight it by showing that you are the best choice, over and over. Wealth is accumulated after years of using your education to EARN the wealth.

Is there police corruption? Of course there is. Officers come from the societal pool and if it exist in society it will exist everywhere. There is corruption in every job and walk of life. It is not as high as the percentages say it should be, because they do a decent job of weeding them out, but it does exist. As an ex cop it exist far more than I would like it to. You wish to seek justice but about the only time you see the Black community actually help LE is when a cop kills one of their own. Seek justice, but seek it harder for the victims of Black on Black murder as it is a thousand times more prevalent than a Black being unnecessarily killed by a cop, black or white. If you want justice then seek it in the proper manner. Riots and looting are the usual outcome and the death becomes nothing but an excuse for more crime, supposedly to salve the feelings of the group. It makes it appear that destruction and a new 46 inch TV makes up for the loss of a life. Why not give the officer/officers the same thing you wish for the Black defendants, and that is time for a reasonable investigation and, if necessary and fair and impartial trial. To this point it isn't happening.

Maybe the doctors weren't authorized to comment until now, there are confidentiality policies and laws you know. The government or defense attorneys are not obligated to lay out their case for public consumption prior to trial.
I see. So they only tell bloggers, not actual news agencies.
Makes perfect sense.

“Some liberal outlets [are] creating almost a lynch mob mentality around this, the Huffington Post today, screaming banner headline ‘Arrest Him.’

Sounds like some people need a reminder of what a lynch mob actually was. Hint: it didn't involve placing someone under arrest.

As shown time and time again, Zimmerman was not required by law to obey an order of the dispatcher.

You are correct. And as a result, Zimmerman literally got away with murder.

I suspect you've often fantasized about killing a black guy in cold blood without fear of legal repercussion.
