New Witness to Michael Brown Shooting

Most news people clearly want this to be a case where the cop is guilty of an unjustified killing. Nobody can deny that with a straight face.

Then why did you doubt that anyone had said he was shot in the back when it was all over the news on day one and two???

The press did not even try to get a second confirmation of the "facts," they ran with the story and thus started affecting the memories of all subsequent witness accounts and well as poisoning the national jury pool for when Eric Holder tries the cop on a civil rights violation for not being brave enough to die in the line of duty.

And by subsequent, I mean even the one you found so highly credible that it was going to turn this case to the side of the Press's story.

And what makes you doubt that that hasn't occurred already? I have no doubt that it was done within days if not hours.

Ishmael

I have a couple of reasons to have doubt. First, it wouldn't be that easy to identify the individual from his voice alone, and second, he might be reluctant to go on record with that version of events.

At no time have I doubted that witnesses said it appeared Brown was shot in the back. At no time. The witness this thread is about clearly said that. Clearly.

There were NO SHOTS IN THE BACK.

That did not stop the presses...

That's SCIENCE.

The pathologist who reported said yesterday that based upon his examination and the facts known to him, it is possible that the shots to the arm were shot from behind as Brown fled from the officer.

It's clearly possible at least one shot hit Brown in the arm as he was running away from the cop.

possible:rolleyes:

They demanded Zimmerman be arrested and charged too. He was, overcharged in fact. And all as a result of external pressure.

This whole thing has been fucked up from Obama and Holder on down. It should have been a local matter, and no big deal.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

The Ferguson goon squad poisoned their relationship with the citizenry they were supposed to "protect", and now reap the consequences.

Zimmerman not only was overcharged, he never should have had any charges filed against him, period. That may be the case here as well, but we don't have enough information yet to know whether there should be charges in this case. There is certainly a strong effort on the part of many to see charges filed, and quickly. And a reluctance to clarify the cop's side of the story, which is adding to the controversy.

The Regime needed another distraction, and they succeeded like they always do.

You seem to be hardwired to believe that any shooting of a black guy by a non-black guy is justifiable.

There's a word for that.

They're good at it. Well, they don't have to be good at it. The press chases that ball every time they throw it.

How did they poison their relationship? It seems to me everything was going along pretty normally in Ferguson until this incident.

I have to disagree with you.

I don't see eye-to-eye with toubab on a lot of things.

That said, he's been steadfast in this thread in stating there's a possibility the cop crossed the line and that, if he did, he needs to be prosecuted and punished.

I see nothing knee jerk in that, unlike the keep-an-open-mind-until-I-tell-you-really-what-happened posters.
