Yeah, they've had him on camera all throughout this episode stealing from the convenience store. They just released it today.
As I said earlier, irrelevant if the cop shot Brown as described by the witnesses.

If you had been following my earlier comments on this matter you would know I gave little credence to Johnson's version of events. The reason I started this thread was because I saw witness Tiffany Mitchell on TV discussing the shooting, and I was very impressed with her and her veracity and credibility. She clearly indicates she saw Brown being shot as he was fleeing the police officer, then stop and turn around with his hands up, then get shot again. If she is right, that is murder. Probably not first degree murder, but murder.
I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but the bottom line on all of this is whether the killing was justified. It does not appear to me it was.
There was nothing illegal about shooting Brown in the back as he was fleeing. The possible illegal act is shooting him in the front if he stopped running and turned around with his hands up.
Long-term misuse of alcohol can cause a wide range of mental health problems. Severe cognitive problems are common(YEP); approximately 10 percent of all dementia cases are related to alcohol consumption, making it the second leading cause of dementia.[33] Excessive alcohol use causes damage to brain function(YEP), and psychological health can be increasingly affected over time.
No, because I am not doing the investigation, so I am free to make whatever comments or observations I wish.

You are not demonizing the cop? You convicted him based on a statement give to a reporter.:roll eyes: Now, finally you say "but we shall see."
The only difference between you and the rioting protesters and the other race baiters (without knowledge of what actually happened) is that you weren't out on the streets at night.
I am curious as to what you actually know about Tiffany Mitchell's veracity. I don't know anything about it, so I'm just wondering.
No, I'm not demonizing the cop. I think he may very well have gotten carried away and continued shooting after he should have stopped. I strongly suspect that's what happened. Wouldn't make him a demon if that's what happened. Would make him guilty of a crime, however.
Neither did Ward Jr. when he jumped Tony Stewart's car, but something bad things happen to really good people, in this case the Darren and Tony...
Disrespect is earned. If it means anything to you, and I doubt it does and care even less that it does, I disrespect toubab much less than most.

I'm just giving my opinion based on past experience, having taken statements from many, many witnesses over many years. After a point, you learn when someone is being honest and when they are not. Or think you know. And when past experience has shown you are almost always right when you come to that conclusion, you have confidence in your ability to tell a good witness from a poor one. There's nothing certain about it, of course, but it is my considered opinion Tiffany Mitchell is being honest.
It may be "legal" to shoot an unarmed person in the back who is fleeing.
It's certainly not manly. It is the mark of a coward.
Hearsay evidence.
Remember this?
Vinny Gambini: Let me show you something.
[he holds up a playing card, with the face toward Billy]
Vinny Gambini: He's going to show you the bricks. He'll show you they got straight sides. He'll show you how they got the right shape. He'll show them to you in a very special way, so that they appear to have everything a brick should have. But there's one thing he's not gonna show you.
[turns the card, so that its edge is toward Billy]
Vinny Gambini: When you look at the bricks from the right angle, they're as thin as this playing card. His whole case is an illusion, a magic trick. It has to be an illusion…,

She came across good on camera...

What would you have a cop do if he is chasing a very dangerous felon, say a murderer, who is outrunning him?
Again.
Maybe not.
Like Tony, he may never be a cop again, but that only makes him maybe wrong in judgement, but not a criminal.
First off...
How big was the cop?
We know the Ute was fucking huge...
Again, you're clinging to a fiction.
If is the biggest little word in the language.
IF the witnesses did not have an axe to grind, and subsequent event seem to indicate that the community had an axe to grind...

You will, as studies have shown, there's even one of those learning channel shows dedicated to the topic, often times decide to see what you have been conditioned to want to see.

Did you get face-to-face with these witnesses and take their statements?
Eyewitness evidence.
She did. And that's important. She's no Rachel Jeantel.
Often I did. Many were written, signed statements. Even more were recorded.
