If one were pressed for time, which of your 14 derp-n-whine-free posts on this thread would you recommend someone that wanted to know about Benghazi should read first?

Wow. One third of the posts here are from the "drown out the discourse" crowd. I can't say I am surprised.
:nods:

If one were pressed for time, which of your 85 insightful posts on this thread would you recommend someone that wanted to know about Benghazi should read first?

You seem to have an interesting idea what constitutes gentlemanly "discourse."

They've made a 1/3 of the posts on this thread (33.8% according to my math) but between the 3 of them they don't have a fully functional brain.

If one were pressed for time, which of your 49 highly intellectual posts on this thread would you recommend someone that wanted to know about Benghazi should read first?

Rob stopped by with four more posts, didn't point to a post that illuminates anything about Benghazi and shockingly didn't seem to have anything interesting to add.

I don't know how they did it in Ireland but here we go out and find someone unrelated to knock up.

Mom had seven...and yes she is exhausted.

Phew. It's a good thing I was raised in the U.S.

I see what you did there! ~giggle~

Oh, my... that is a knee-slapper!

The rest of the 5th graders must be impressed. Wasn't that a fun day when you found out what a "fag" was so you could start calling people that?

Why is THIS forum not called "The Playground?"

Why would I call someone a cigarette?

Why would I call someone a cigarette?

'cause he is white and skinny?

I gather you are not using Google translate for American---->The QUEEN'S English?

...If I could intrude into the thread with some thoughts on Benghazi?

I just had a lightbulb go off reading a piece. I haven't gotten through it yet but unless I am mistaken, the guy they now have on the slow boat to a quiet dungeon at the Justice Department heads one of the groups that we funneled arms to in a covert CIA op to overthrow Gaddafi.

I was aware that the CIA at the outpost were probably gathering up any spare guns, mortars and implements of distribution laying about from that adventure to move to the new adventure in Syria (now spilling into Iraq)

What had not occurred to me is that the guy leading the charge on the consulate of COURSE knew about the CIA safe house. That's who gave him the guns to begin with.

*L* oh lighten up a little bit, quite taking everything so serious, laugh a little.

Well, it's cool to know that if anyone talked shit about the women in your family like that, you'd be buying their first rounds at the bar.

Keep traveling that high road, Dools! :D

I see Obama has succeeded in gaining immunity for our troops. I suspect he'll start bombing hell out of the evidence of his perfidy asap.

For someone that your lot constantly insists is incompetent he sure manages to get quite a bit done.

This is just further proof (as if more were needed) that the President can do absolutely nothing right in your mind.

I noticed you've beaten the hell out of "perfidy" over the past week or so. Did you lose your thesaurus or have you not gotten your word of the day notifications from El Rushbo this week?

You are late to the party. We knew within a week to ten days that the American Ambassador had been charged with running guns from al Qaeda in Libya to al Qaeda in Syria. It is called leading from behind. All of the leaders who kept the region stable were not fans of civil rights in the way that President Obama and the American Left are, so they had to go. That the alternative was worse was not a thought that ever crossed their collective minds because they thought the alternative, Radical Islam, had been mischaracterized and were lashing out at America because of Bush Policy and "American Colonialism." That is all the deeper or further back historically that their thought process was and that outlook was reflected in the Cairo speech where Obama thought that his elevation and erudition was going to lead to a beer and skittles summit with the Arab world, i.e., the Religion of Peace. That it did not took them completely by surprise.

the day after the killings

I had a PM from someone on LIT who works for US INTEL, telling me that

The reduction of complex motivations to a single fulcrum of fault. Simple explanations for simple minds, particularly effective when advancing a political agenda with a population generally ignorant of what is actually taking place.

The idea that some sort of democratic state would emerge from a populist uprising against an autocratic leader was naive in the extreme. Islamic states, by definition, are Theocracies (yes, I'm aware of the exceptions). And Theocracies will tolerate no opposition to what they consider the path to righteousness.

I missed this one.

I was so focused on the fact that the administration was clearly lying to not really consider WHY they were lying...WHAT were they covering up.

Sure they were wanting to reframe because of the whole "Al Qaeda is decimated and on the run!" meme (Mission Accomplished?)

But the real reason they were trying to make this a "spontaneous demonstration" is this was the back-end of Hillary's illegal gun deal gone bad.

If it had WORKED, this would have been "I loathe the military" Hillary's "accomplishment." Done without the military. Her very own "Charlie Wilson's War."

Same Blueprint. Get the House of Saud to fund the weapons, CIA to do the training. Even the same fundamentalist fighters. Except one of them decided to use the weapons on the gun dealer instead of selling them back to be passed on to the next Jihad.

The overthrow of Libya was legal - but dumb, the overthrow of Syria was not legal, because the administration could not do the required briefings of congress for fear it would leak and disrupt the "Al Qaeda is decimated and on the run!" meme

It's a phony scandal, The president says so. He wouldn't lie about a thing like that, would he?
President Obama charged that his Republican opponents had “nothing to offer except cynicism and fear and frustration” during a fundraiser Thursday in Minnesota.

The fundraiser capped off a day Obama spent with Rebekah Erler, a working mother who wrote the president to detail her financial struggle.

“It moved me,” Obama said of the letter, adding that he only went into politics to help people like her.

Obama said he remembered what it felt like to be struggling to figure out “how you lead a good life and raise your kids, not looking to get wildly wealthy… trying to make ends meet.”

That's what we should be talking about every day in Washington,” he said. “We talk about everything else. .. We talk about phony scandals. We talk about Benghazi. and we talk about polls and we talk about the tea party and we talk about the latest controversy... We don't talk about her.”

Obama also showered praise on House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), saying he loved the former House Speaker.

“I love her because she smart. And she’s tough. And she’s fearless,” Obama said.

The president bragged he and Pelosi “got more done than any Congress since the 1960s” during the first two years of his presidency.

“I want her back,” Obama said.

Hmm, wait- The way he phrased that there are unnamed phony scandals, and the valid Benghazi, apparently.

Knock on wood that senile Nancy (there's NOTHING left to cut, spending is at the bone) Pelosi doesn't ever regain power. Boehner is quite bad enough.

Bwahahaha. Want to try again now? :D

Vette and query....both spectacularly WRONG yet again. What a surprise..

No pontificating for the dummy duo today...

I flog a different manufactured outrage every day, Benghazi has been show to be just another line of bullshit used by the radical right to Blame Obama in an attempt to not have to accept the GOP ideology and those who hold it are increasingly out of touch & irrelevant.
Edited for accuracy and, of course, my own amusement.
