Both Laurel and Manu are shown as invalid users. (according to the General Board)

I've checked. They appear to have been deleted. WTF?

Sounds like a bug or a hack. Try reporting it. I don't know how since you can't PM either one of them.

WTF?

Guest? Invalid User? Laurels dead?

Well I just hope they don't try to blame this on james r scouries!

Of course they've tried to blame him for every other AHer who has left the site.

But I think we can lay this one at the door of the "two amigos"! Yes you know who I'm talking about ... that arrogant private school gay elitist from Virginia and that incredibly rude pipsqueak from Boston.

They hounded our poor QUEEN until she just couldn't take it anymore. Didn't they realise as they attacked her that this woman with a heart of gold was a sensitive and warm and loving person?

Didn't they realise that their trollish insults and ugly slander would hurt this woman who has toiled for years to help struggling porn writers?

They should be ashamed of themselves!

Lit was raided by the feds and the new webmaster is now Director James B. Comey...

That's weird.

But new stories were posted on time this morning. So at least this site is operating in that regard.

I hope they come back, or fix whatever happened to their accounts.

I hope they are cutting off contact for a bit to clean up the nonfunctioning parts of the site.

More than likely making room for the new owners or maybe scouries is right and they were kidnapped by you and LC. If so I hope your first demand is to wipe scouries off the site forever. :D

According to LC, if we have Laurel in hand, Scouries can't post.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised by a "new owners" possibility.

Their accounts can be reinstated at any given time by the website, if they want.

As to WTF has happened to them, it can only be speculated by us. The real reasons can only be provided by them.

Lit. has been sold! Google has gobbled up Lit.!

I wish it were true... then I could put in a transfer to "Google Erotica" aka where trashy smut writers of the world converge.

I think a few server upgrades are afoot, or maybe the King and Queen had enough of the plebians.

I'm starting the rumor that it was bought up by an English company called Sourcies World.

Maybe the feds asked them about their rape rule:rolleyes:

I wouldn't be surprised about a sale. They've run this thing for 15 years and its obvious they are getting tired.

Or......

This is a fun hoax to get the GB going, after all who the hell would allow their BS other than the current owners?

You mean that out and out violent rape isn't allowed?

Give it a rest. You can't go saying something is morally repugnant while also being in support of something else morally repugnant.

If anybody were to purchase Literotica they would be very cautious with changing policies. The internet is full of dead communities that went belly-up within a few months of changing owners because the new staff didn't understand the mechanics. Remember when Disney bought the chat-juggernaut WBS? They killed it (and their investment) in less than a year when they attempted to make it more "family friendly."

No, I don't think Google will change much with Lit (except trying to sneak a "license update" past our noses to shift ownership of the content to them of course.... )

Pay attention troll.

I've said many time I could care less what the kink is and I do not believe in censorship whether I like the material or not.

Its the point the site says "Oh, we don't allow violent rape stories" Yet has a section called non consent that is full of them and once in awhile reject one because they didn't like it for some reason.

Want to allow rape? Allow it, but own it.

Understand? Or should I type more slowly for you?

I see you're point, but understand the forums make no money. All advertising is on story side. However, the boards are a huge draw with the kink threads and all the hot pic threads and I would be hesitant to change that.

But....the freedom of speech concept which has led into a lot of harassment and cyber bullying could and might go. Most forums have active mods and will not tolerate the behavior exhibited in the sites favorite forum.
