Don't overthink it. In six months, when (one assumes) the whole story is published, the lag between chapters is irrelevant, because the whole thing is out there.No, chapters 2&3 are one submission. They were shorter chapters, so I combined them. I'm actually waiting for them to get published, because chapter 4 is done, and I'm just about done with Chapter 5 as well. But I'm not submitting them until Ch 2-3 is live.... It's very frustrating... I've never had a delay like this before....
Folk fret far too much about the initial release, I reckon.
Anyway, good stories are like fine wine or whiskey, they need time.
Writing it your way, you can make a rod for your own back. If you publish as you go along, there comes a time when you can no longer keep up, and your end up on a treadmill, trying to keep the release pace going.
