I have to give praise to the show Penny Dreadful.
I've not seen an episode yet that hasn't surprised the hell out of me.
Damn good show. Comes on Showtime on Sunday night.
The Leftovers
Anyone else plan to watch any of these shows?

And "28 Weeks Later" was pretty good, too.
No thank you...Zombie movies don't interest me at all. Although I did watch World War Z - didn't like it at all, glad I didn't pay for it.
The SyFy channel used to be my favorite channel to watch...now, it's just another channel I flip past on my way to HBO or USA.
Well if zombie movies aren't for you, then no problem, although I do have to say that "Shaun of the Dead" and "Zombieland" are great for poking fun at the whole zombie genre.
I also stopped watching SyFy -- hated it when they changed the spelling to that -- but Helix was moderately interesting (and also a bit of an impending train wreck), and Dominon was okay. Haven't watched Defiance yet, although I'd like to. I'm glad to see original SF programming, even if it doesn't pan out all the way. You have to have a lot of flops sometimes before you get a good show.
Did anyone watch "The Last Ship?"
