A while ago it was stated in these threads that it was only the Burn The Bitch fans that persucuted aednd intimidated writers. I just thought I'd let you know that it is definitely not a one sided thing when I logged in to my view page the other day, I was greeted by the following message.
>Hi Ken! Just sending this report to you to let you know. If this collectionis your work under another
> penname, or if this person stole it from you, please let me know and I'll reinstate the story.
>Thanks! Report ID: 12888 Title: Possible copyright violation, plagiarism (please comment below):
>Details: This story was published a year before on Amazon in a collection of short stories by Emma
> Holly. The main character's name was different, but both the wife and the other woman are
>named the same. This is the collection http://www.amazon.com/Fantasy-Christ...ection+romance
>Submission: The Surrogate Wife [edit] Submission Author: DeYaKen
There are ways and means of finding out what is in a book so, knowing I was totally innocent, I investigated. The book quoted contains four stories, none of which bears the slightest resemblance to The Surrogate wife.
This is the second malicious report I have suffered. The first one I got so mad that laurel hadn't bothered to ask me to defend it, that I just pulled it. This one was down for only 24hrs. I know who wrote the first report. Frontlinecaster, someone whose avowed intention is to push marital strife stories out of loving wives and me off of Lit, was openly bragging to other authors that she had done it.
I don't know for sure who filed the second malicious report, but it came only 48 hrs after my cyber stalker as I call her, was made to look extremely silly when she pursued me though another writer's comments page.
I don't write BTB stories and I've had my share of flack from that quarter, But those people have never stooped so low as to lie about the content of my story to get it taken down, or to accuse me of an illegal act.
