A sexual "shopping" trip

An idea I've been kicking around, wanted to see what people thought of it. For his eighteenth birthday Marcus's mom takes him to a center where men go to pick out their wives. At the center he is told that based on a questionnaire sent in earlier they have a wide selection of women available, Marcus is led through a door and into a mall like facility with each area focusing on a different kind of women ( blonde, brunette, single mom, foreign) all the women are naked and are free to screw, except the virgin area ( looking only) maybe he meets some girls he knows from college? Maybe he finds his mom in the single mom section and can't resist a go? Thoughts?

Did he fill out the questionnaire or did Mom? with the questionnaire, why so much variety of women? If mom filled it out, did she get his tastes right?

Definitely needs some conflict to create drama to sustain what will not be a short stroker, but also lots of sex.

This sounds like a far fetched future sci-fi sort of plot to me. Could be fun but may be hard to write. Would need a lot of story development around it.

It sounds like it be a quirk in reality, like the hunger games, with unusual customs, an alternate reality, like a mirror image society, or a new country with different customs. It sounds exciting and fun. I'd like to see it in reverse.

Doesn't have to be alternate reality, just an upperclass cult. A cabal of nabobs wants to keep their money within their group, and the coming-of-age ritual selects appropriate mates.

I was actually thinking about Hunger Games when I suggested a Sci-Fi sort of plot. Alternate reality describes it better.

Sounds like it could easily be done with a cult commune. Maybe only the <senior staff/leaders> get their pick of the available ladies, the middle management gets what's left. Lastly, the lower rated flunkies get nothing, or they get the recycled ones their seniors are tired of.

Also note that the gender available at the market could be either. Maybe it's a lost Amazon tribe, and the female warriors are the leaders, and the lowly men are the commodity.
