Yes, they do. Just be patient. Give it a minimum of 4 days. Maximum 7 days. No one gets paid at Literotica, & one person does everything.

No, Loquere, I've never seen anyone claim that they received a response to an e-mail to the Web site. Only PMs. Try it yourself and report back.
And, yes, the thought that the owners aren't making a living off this Web site seems quite naive.

I have in the past (before I joined the forums) and I did hear back each time. Took around 4-5 days in all the instances.

Beat me to that one. And they are the only one getting paid. It explains the lack of screening the stories and functionality of the site or lack thereof in general.
In fact I hazard to say the site makes more than ever and the monthly contest payouts were eliminated and this is the last survivor contest.
I also have the feeling theme contests are not far behind.
Which boggles my mind why authors post here. Based on my rudimentary knowledge of web stuff, if this site isn't doing six figures annually then someone needs to be fired

Feedback and practice. Its a great platform to build up your skills aside from that no reason.

Well said. He even admits that laurel won't even reply to his PM's. So much for her talking to him on the phone or in person.
As for him making money off the site, he claims to get royalties on free stories. Exactly how does that work?

Not as long as he keeps scamming the whole favorites list. He bumps his crap up on the Favorite author's list and the favorite stories list. Then he bumps up any and all authors and stories that are in the Incest category. Last but not least, he bumps the authors above the people he dislikes up to push the ones telling the truth about him down.
It's not hard to see even in passing. He's very obvious about it.

Oh, that's right. I forgot. No incest author belongs in the top list because of lits boogeyman.

The top list, especially the top 25 or so is skewed towards authors with a lot of work in that category, but its an effect of....
The fact its by far the largest read and voted on category here and the site also lifted the limit on how many favs people can have on their page which also caused a surge in numbers for many authors, but especially incest.
Or, of course it can just be scouries, because it always is.

I read a story idea 1999 resurrected post where Laurel stated that she had a 9 to 5, while still doing Lit business. I questioned if that was still the case, since Lit has more traffic than Wow, then the story ideas moderator up & deleted the thread. So yes I'm running on information from 1999 because no ones providing new data.
