Game of Thrones Thread WITH SPOILERS (you've been warned)

Each episode, I am either crying from anger and frustration, or crying because my heart has been crushed, again. owww Tell me that the Brits are involved in planning out the episodes, and I might believe you. They have done some heart crushing to me, in the past.

So who has decided Oberyn Martell is their new favorite character?:D

I had him pegged as a mere libertine, which by itself could have been enough to make him the favorite character of a great many Litsters. But he has hidden depths after all.

So does anyone have a mammary gland to spare for a preadolescent jackass? He's going to be hungry soon.

Robert (Robin) will definitely try to substitute Sansa's as if having to tolerate him crawling into bed with her each night now isn't enough.

ETA:
Oh yeah, and rage on...

I am finally all caught up. I am watching in Real Time. This is my fav series since Breaking Bad.

I'm a huge Oberyn Martell fan. Love how Arya Stark's character is developing, too.

As happy as I was to see Joffrey poisoned, I miss his warped character.

Arya's story line is one of two that are really exciting going forward. The last three or so episodes should be great. Joffrey was a great villain, love to hate him, hard to do that in every story.

Arya and the Hound's journey is actually better than the books, purely because of the acting. That girl is going to be a serious talent.

The Arya-Hound scene by the campfire was almost as great as Martell-Tyrion.

I miss Joffrey, too. He was an evil little shit, but he definitely brought something to every scene.

Let's give some props to Rory McCann as well. He's made The Hound one of he show's most compelling characters.

Agreed.

The only characters and storyline that tend to bore me, Is Daenerys. Loved it before she became Dothraki khal's widow. I loved their story and relationship.

Since I have not read the books and have no idea what's coming next, I hope I get pulled more deeply into that plot.

It's because she's such a godawful actor.

The cast as a whole is extraordinary. It's very compelling TV.

I know it's fashionable to trash the actress who plays Sansa Stark, but she's slowly (verrrrry slowly) coming into her own this year. There was a piece in Vanity Fair speculating that the series endgame might just be Queen Sansa vs. Khaleesi.

I thought the actor who portrayed "Robb Stark" was the weakest link.

Dinklage should get the Emmy.
