really enjoying this season.. It has been a few years since I read the books, starting to read again, but it seems they are diverging more and more.. Obviously makes sense since the main characters in the book interact less and less with one another as they travel to the far corners of westerns and across the see.. keeps the plot line moving and has some surprises even if you have read them..

From what we've seen, #2 is, at least, a primary motive, although fear is obviously involved, and yes, she has to look ahead to what will happen to her if Tyrion is gone, so finances are part of her decision.

What I did get to see only made me think that Shae's reasoning would be to save him somehow. I'm thinking she bought the Wall speech too. But I'm silly that way and use a womans heart for feeling - she loved him, no way is she going to sell him out if it means he dies, no matter what he said to her.
