Mr. Speaker! We Need To Get Back To Benghazi

Benghazi

"What difference does it make"

We got other problems more important, like a racist paying blacks
tons on money to play a game.

It's disgusting that our media is trying to crucify that man for what he said to his whore in confidence but gives our Kenyan President a fucking free pass. What the fuck is up with that?!

I'm sorry but your credibility to post in here has been questioned, since it's 2014, five years since he's taken office.

Kenyan? Really?

Hey look! Another idiot.

Rep. Tom Cotton (R-AR) in response to the crocodile tears shed by Democrats in their outrage of GOP organizations fundraising on this contentious issue....

"When Americans were fighting for their lives in Benghazi, Barack Obama did neither," Cotton said. "He sent no quick reaction force and didn't even stay in the situation room to supervise the execution of his orders. We expect more from the lieutenants in the army than our president gave us that night. For two years he’s covered up this failure of leadership by stonewalling. Not anymore. We will now get to the truth. But what do our colleagues on the other side of the aisle say to this? They express great outrage at politicizing this matter."

"When I was leading troops in Iraq in 2006, men and women who were being shot at and blown up by al Qaeda, where was the outrage as they fund-raised endlessly off the Iraq war? Where was the outrage as they viciously attacked our commanders?"

My my, a Republican defending his fund raising off the deaths of 4 Americans in Benghazi.

Whoda thunk?

Directly responsive to your pouts of yesterday.

As if you care about the death of any servicemen. You possibly might care about the death of a probably liberal career diplomat if expressing even a modicum of interest about what he was doing when he died wouldn't make your hero look bad.

If you thought that whatever mission he was on that night in Benghazi would reflect well on the administration you'd be all smiles about it. Of course if it could stand the cold light of day. they wouldn't be obfuscating and you wouldn't be so desperate for a deflection.

Daily crocodile tears and body-count updates from the left in an effort to denigrate the evil Bush administration was not only fair game it was "noble." Nobody buys your mock concern for the families of the victims.

Nice to see the projection in your "ascription" of the Representative's motives as you are ever so fond of decrying.

There's nothing like telling me what I think and how I feel about service members killed and spending a couple of paragraphs bashing "my" position like it means something huh? Pitiful attempt even for you query.

Even the GOP attack dog "investigator" Trey Gowdy has tried to tell the NRCC that they probably shouldn't be using the murder of four Americans as a fundraising tool. You know, just like they accuse the Democrats of doing over Bush's war of choice.

EXACTLY! Nothing like YOU telling the representative how he thinks or feels. HE is not fundraising, HE is responding to the Dems crocodile tears...

Just curious...have you ever made a post with out rolled eyes for punctuation?

Condescend much?

I stand by what I said...IF you cared about the dead you would want to know why, and you wouldn't be using them as cover for why this shouldn't be looked into.

Your motives in your statement are much more transparent than your Hero's Administration. When you cry such blatant crocodile tears, it isn't actually ascription to call you on it.

Their families of the dead want the inquiry. Who are you to say otherwise?

Last I saw, Tom Cotton rceived campaign contributions from the RNCC which kicked off it's "Benghazi Watchdog" fundraising campaign shortly after Speaker Boehner said: “This is all about getting to the truth, It’s not going to be a circus. This is a serious investigation.”

To demonstrate that seriousness, the National Republican Congressional Committee, under the control of House Republican leaders, started a fundraising campaign urging donors to become “Benghazi watchdogs” along with “Chief Benghazi Watchdog Congressman Trey Gowdy. House Republicans will make sure that no one will get away from Gowdy and the Select Committee,” it said, adding, “Help fight liberals by donating today.”

Nope, not a partisan witch hunt at all...

Gowdy seems to fancy himself a prosecutor rather than an investigator, so you'll forgive my confusion about his status.

Regarding the fund raising campaign poster-boy prosecutor *ahem* "investigator" Gowdy proclaimed “I have never sought to raise a single penny on the backs of four murdered Americans.” Except that he has, at a campaign barbecue in South Carolina. I suppose he means that "other people" shouldn't raise funds by exploiting the people killed in the Benghazi attack.

When asked by Joe Scarborough if his panel's work would continue into the 2016 election season he replied, "“If an administration is slow-walking document production, I can’t end a trial simply because the defense won’t cooperate.”

Trial? A trial? And the Obama administration is the defense? So much for that “serious investigation” House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) promised; his new chairman intends to play prosecutor, proving the administration’s guilt to the jury — in this case, the public.

We can forgive the Chief prosecutor in a show trial of the President for this little lapse in memory, he obviously has a lot on his mind orchestrating his prosecution *ahem* "investigation".

Kudos to Dana Milbank of the Washington Post for those of you looking for a bibliography.

Boehner dodges Benghazi-fundraising questions.

Asked three times about the propriety of the party’s campaign arm fundraising off the select committee created to investigate the death of four Americans, Boehner repeated different variations of the same line.

“Our focus is on getting the answers to those families who lost their loved ones,” Boehner (R-Ohio) told reporters in the Capitol. “Period.”

Asked again if it is proper for the National Republican Congressional Committee to use this committee money, Boehner said, “Our focus is getting the truth for these four families and for the American people."

The real bottom line. They picked up the tab for the Obama victory in 2012.

:(

What a pant load. Still looking for why your party lost, TWICE, to President Obama, Vettebutthurt?

If you want to talk about "picking up the tab" then you need only look at House Republicans who repeatedly cut funding for embassy security despite warnings from the Secretary of State that they were risking the security of our Embassies abroad.

In the Republican House Democrats have been allowed 125 amendment votes on various bills before the House. Harry Greed as allowed only 9 Republican amendment votes since last July, while holding up 200 House passed bills in the Senate.

The Repubs really need to take the senate this year.

You can tell by the lib response that he thumped them good. I saw the speech.

Did you? Or did you go to Drudge to get the talking points of the day?

All he managed to do was point out that his party is just as hypocritical as they accuse the Democrats of being.

good job!

They died, Obama lied, the media denied, he was re-elected. Own it.

Again:

This is why Republicans can’t get over Benghazi fever. It’s a symptom of a more deadly disease: the party’s determination to deny Obama legitimacy. If he lied to get reelected, he didn’t really win at all. They don’t have to reckon with the truth that voters rejected the soulless Romney, who would say anything to get elected, and his running mate, the allegedly principled and wonky Ryan. In the end, he had to hide his unpopular budget ideas to face the voters, turning out to be as craven as Romney. It’s not really a surprise that he’s blaming Crowley for his troubles, but it’s disturbing nonetheless.

So the GOP is bitching over the White House's given reasons as to the attack? Terrorists? Video? Whatever?

They're NOT bitching and complaining about the lack of security, something that Secretary of State Clinton warned about earlier? They're just whining about a so-called cover-up/lie about the reason FOR the attack?

Oh
My
Fucking
God

The priorities are WRONG
