That's a timeless classic, indeed. I think my favorite is, "You've also been a kid once, imagine if you parents hadn't wanted any kids!". Yeah, at least then I wouldn't have to listen to stupid comments about not wanting kids myself.

Going to a car dealer, explaining I wanted to pay cash but would need a week or so to free up the money, paying the deposit.... then being told "Oh, and we'll need the rest of the money by Monday as its financial year end."

So now I have to type out an e-mail explaining that if they can;t wait for the money then I need the deposit back.

Shame, it's a good car too.
