The little letters next to some stories.

It may be posted elsewhere but I swear I've looked unsuccessfully.

Can someone please make a key for the letters next to some stories H, N, ect. and an explanation for how they are assigned/earned. I have figured out that the yellow N means new. I figure that the red H means HOT but who decides?

H - the story must have a voting score higher than 4.5, after having received at least X votes (I think X = 10 votes, but I'm not sure).

E - the story has been selected by the site administrator (Laurel, I suppose; the person who approves the stories).

N - New, as you (correctly) assume.

Just discovered a red H on one of my stories. Makes me tear up a little.
