The Literotica Tag team competition?

I'll have to be careful here because horror movies good and bad are a big thing with me.

I don't like horror movies at all, lol. I am such a fraidy cat. Serenity, the final movie of Firefly was scary enough for me. I am so ditzy sometimes I hadn't realised that the Z in World War Z stood for zombies and sat to watch it a few weeks ago. I made it through the whole movie (It wasn't so scary) but I will be more careful about movie choices in the future

I don't like scary movies either, not because they scare me, but because they all seem so lame. World War Z was a joke. I have yet to see a promo that enticed me to watch or even download a "Horror" flick.

You want to scare me, you want to hear me scream?? Play some rap music. Now that's scary stuff.

Scary movies? I remember the original House on Haunted Hill scaring the hell out of me. Also true for the first Halloween movie. I saw a lot of them. Exorcist was good for sure. The Town that Dreaded Sundown wsd another.
Scariest book I ever read was Salem's Lot. Scared the shit out of me and I was an adult.

I remember when Son of Sam was doing his thing. One night parking with my girl in the back of a school we got really spooked as the rigging on the flag pole kept on clanking into the metal pole. No sex that night. I think he cut teen pregnancies by 50% until he was caught. Real life monsters are always the scariest.

Salem's lot scared me too, but not any of the vampire stuff. What scared me was Ben's story of how he saw Marsten hanging in the attic

I got scared by Pet Semetery, but mostly because it was dark and I was in college and there were lots of trees. Atmosphere, you know.

Red Dragon was the scariest thing I ever read. I was terrified, so instead of turning off the lights and going to bed, I kept reading until the sun came up.

The last movie to scare me at all would be the "Blair witch Project" and that was only at the part when they turned off the lights and all you heard was the sounds around them.

In other words my own imagination at work managed to scare me.

I remember being scared at the first Halloween movie, but then I was 7 years old when I saw it.

I have yet to see the end of BWP. I wore wrist bands b/c I'd heard about the motion sickness effect, but for the last two or three minutes, I could not watch because -- I was too motion sick. Seriously. Kept my eyes closed. I don't know how it ends to this day (although I'm sure I could find out).

I also can't watch "Night of the Hunter" by myself. Well, don't like to. Robert Mitchum is creepy with a capital creep.

For those of you who haven't really had a lot to do with Australian film industry apparently the sequel to the scariest movie of ours for the last decade had come out recently. I wont watch it but people tell me its beyond creepy/scary.

For those interested here's the linkie dinkie to the original movie trailer Wolf Creek

I think it's made worse because the villain is a much loved TV star here, well he was before this.

We borrowed Wolf Creek from our neighbor. I've read some reviews and I don't think I can watch it.

The scariest movie I've ever seen was called The Telephone starring Whoppi Goldberg. While not a horror movie in any sense, it is extremely frightening to think that someone read this script and thought it was a good idea to make it a movie. *shudders* Whoppi actually sued to keep the movie from being released because it was so bad. She lost as did anyone who wasted 96 minutes of their life watching it waiting for something funny to happen...nothing ever did.

Same thing. Gage coming back from the dead and all the Indian burial ground shit didn;t get me.

The story of Rachel's sister did. And the people who did the movie knew that was a spooky part because "Zelda" creeped me out in the movie and I was an adult by then.

Went and saw that with my sister who knew it freaked me out and for the next month she would call and leave this on my answering machine "Rachel, Rachel, I'm coming to get you!"

We were never the Waltons.

Okay I am going to address this now and seeing its a Sunday and a low key day hopefully a lot of people see this.

There is an issue with two people's partners going MIA.

Neither has heard from their partner in (today will make 5 days) Now no one said there had to be everyday communication, but a 30 second, yeah look I'm a little busy is not much to ask.

So either these two have lost interest without the courtesy of saying anything or some real life shit came up. I guess I'd rather have the former than someone be sick or something bad happening in their lives.

I found out from LV who their partners are and am going to PM them today. I want to give it until tomorrow night.

If neither respond here is what I would like to do.

I would like to take the two jilted partners and pair them together. I'll know who they are, but I don;t think that is a huge deal and the stories aren't being submitted to me so I won't see anything and judging by the fawcs my ability to guess people sucks anyway.

The other thing I would like to do is if everyone is agreeable on these two being partners I would like to extend the deadline from the 4th to the 10th/11th as these guys now have to start from scratch and everyone else has had about 10 days to work on theirs.

If your story is not finished I don;t see why anyone would care about the week, if you're done I don;t think its a big deal to sit another week.

That's what I feel is fair, but as I said at the start this is simply an idea of mine I put into motion I am not going to make the calls for everyone so when you see this post please reply on what you think.

If you rather voice your opinion by Pm rather then publicly that's fine I check my pm's a few times a day.

I had two fears entering this. One was squabbling which there has been none of. And someone blowing someone off (not in the fun lit way) and looks like two of those. I admit one seems very out of character and I am a bit concerned for them.

Totally reasonable. It's a friendly challenge with no prize. There's no reason not to be flexible.

I am fine with the extension actually when i saw someone post in the thread that they hadn't heard from their partner i offered to double up as with my time zone I am finding the back forth quick and easy but that may just be because i got the awesome-est partner to work with and we seem to be in a groove. Luckily that tag teamer did not need my assistance after all.

As for the two who have been left at the starting gate I am all for matching them up, best idea I think :)

This is for the challenge and fun of it after all, its not we have sheep stations riding on it lol

OK, Weird Aussie Chick, what the hell does that mean? :D

I'm not Aussie, but I can answer that one:

sheep run
noun
plural noun: sheep stations
1.
(esp. in Australia) an extensive tract of land on which sheep are pastured.

If you only have one or two mismatched people, then I believe you're way ahead of any predictive curve. I think a little slush is to be expected. My suggestion? Keep the deadlines are they are and let it roll along. If you wind up with 8 out 10 or 9 out 10 entrants, I believe you did darn good for your first outing!

Just my 2 cents.

The scariest movie I've ever seen in Silence of the Lambs. The night vision goggles in that house is some scary stuff.

(Basically Thomas Harris scares the shit out of me.)
