Curiosity

It's about a relinquishment of all control. All barriers are left behind. It's the ultimate intimacy.

Daddy dom revolves around a younger woman desiring to please her daddy in any way possible. The daddy enjoys his position of power and he uses that to manipulate his daughter. The scenarios are endless from mild to wild. Hope this helps a little.

You might get a hundred different answers to a question like that, because it is so open to opinion and interpretation, but let me try and help you find an answer by asking you some questions:

Who thinks of you as his baby girl, no matter your age, and would lay down his life for you without hesitation?

Who towered over you and commanded respect and obedience, just by being himself?

Whose stern voice could cause you to freeze in your tracks, while his gentler voice would make you beam shyly when he told you how pretty you were?

Who was sometimes a beast, a beast that you alone could tame with a bat of your eyes and a twist of your hair?

Who provided for you, protected you, guided you, adored you, and gave his unconditional love?

How many women do you imagine want a man, a significant other, a lover, who was all of those things, someone they respected, admired, and adored?

If the answer isn't daddy, do you wish it was?

A Daddy Dom is not daddy, but he is daddy-like, and that is the difference between a dom and a daddy dom.

Ok, I think this has got to be the first time anyone has explained the concept to me that generated an "aha!" moment. Thanks Rob1514

Dope post.

The Daddy / girl dynamic doesn't require the girl to be younger than the daddy.

The Daddy / girl dynamic doesn't require age play to qualify as D/g.

Ask 10 dominant types to define "daddy like", and you'll get 10 different answers - thus the D/g dynamic doesn't really have a necessary set of attitudes or skills, to "be" D/g.

It also doesn't require the romanticized "Daddy blahblahblah for his little girl" stuff.

Heck - Daddy doesn't even have to be male, to be a Daddy.

Theoretically, D/g is going to focus more on nurturing, or possibly mentoring, aspects of a power dynamic. There may or may not still be elements of BDSM, or S&M - it just depends on the agreement between the people involved.

Nice! You are quite welcome, but it's just my opinion and for others the relationship and the dynamics are quite different. I do believe that what I was getting at is at the core of DD/lg relationships.

Dope post.
Dope hawtie ;)

I agree 100%.

This explanation was definitely more than intriguing..The Daddy type roles have always been extremely sexy but I've never heard the term Daddy-dom. Interesting...
