Men in kilts

Kilts are very different to skirts: have you ever felt how heavy they are for one thing?!
Scot is good Scotch is rude btw ( I have Scottish blood in me ;) ) I like some Scottish cock in me but that wouldn't rely on a transfusion... although... I'm rambling :D

yes I have worn one and know that they are different which makes sense they were battle gear. I was just pointing out that some men are comfortable with a skirt on. I do not wear a dress but that is my choice. maybe it is decades of someone else telling me what is right and wrong but it still doesn't change how i feel. I wear my hair long for the same fact, I like it.

I am impressed with those who buck the norm and do it with confidence, I just wish others would be less judgmental.

Eddie Izzard explains. I like that men wearing dresses challenges society's values because there is actually nothing wrong with it unless maybe he works with machinery. The point is though that as soon as a man wears a dress he is perceived as being sissy or doing it for sexual kicks and he is less of a man, with all the RWOARR crap that goes with it.
Here's a guy in a full evening dress and *thud* he is hot *thud*

Pond just mentioned the Eddie Izzard bit to me last night as we debated it... I explained exactly what you said sis... A man can't wear those clothes without fear of bullying, discrimination, etc.

I want people to mention things like this... It opens important dialogue and makes people think outside the box.

Even the long hair thing... Bet you could write for ten minutes and not run out of the things you've heard. I love long hair on men... As long as its healthy and they take care of it.

Exactly - nothing worse than a man with frizzy ends :)

Yeah or is it for publicity, doesn't exactly hurt to be quirky as a comedian.
I don't see it as particularly challenging anything. Saw him say before that he likes blouses mainly as there are more of a variety. Actually considered doing that for a while.

Certainly in the business world I suspect many would prefer more options than plain coloured shirts and a tie.

Is that because most wearing them are? Are they helping the cause or holding it back by adopting them?

Think the evening dress link failed to work.

Anyway as I said you don't have to go anywhere near that far back to see men in skirts and dresses. Check out FDR as a child. And pink was a boys colour less than a century ago.

Yeah I've never wanted to be swedish either, though was the chef in the muppet show swedish, he was cool.

Maybe it'll be taken on by the metallers at some point like long hair.

Do think there are more pressing boundaries that need working on...

And kilts were farming gear initially. Scotland is one of the worst places for them to have become popular though as they make more sense in a warm climate.

There's an argument that trousers only started to become gradually more prevalent as cavalry became a force on the battlefield though.

Yea - funny how that comment crops up in most discussions about equality

Like school dinners "Oh there are children starving in Africa you know, so eat it" Yes but your cooking is turning good food into crap...

I know men don't multitask and yes there are other more pressing matters as well but it doesn't mean equality is any less important because of it

last one was for the strap in my AV one of my co-workers said "hey my wife wears one of those" my response "well at least someone in your family has good taste"

I don't really see it as an equality issue, just a fashion one.
Disappointing that's all you took from what I said anyway

my wife reminded me last night that aftercare is more important to a great relationship than an orgasm. what makes a great lover is not how many orgasms you can give her but how you hold her afterwards. sleep is not an option.

I agree... It's when I need him most. I like to feel good of course but I'd rather have one orgasm and cuddle and touch for 30 minutes than have six orgasms and get 5 min of cuddling.

Just stopping in to drop off something I recorded that I thought some of the women here might (possibly?) enjoy.

I Need You To Know

:heart::kiss::rose::kiss::heart:
Oh my goodness Playful I really like this recording. It makes me want to experience that in my life. Closing my eyes just for a moment made me want to be the one you were describing. This was really moving for me. Thank you for making it. This is really good.

Eddie Izzard is BRILLIANT! No person has made me laugh harder EVER! I leterally rolled of my hotel bed laughing. Not to mention he is a hell of a dresser.

When I recorded an improv run through just to get my thoughts straight I actually made myself cry. I am glad you found it moving. :rose:

Good Morning AJ and everyone else who stops in today. I hope your day is going well.
