What is it?

Answers should contain no reference of any description to the current President, Obama, Obamacare or any word beginning with O or o - on the grounds that such threads have bored everyone here utterly witless.

So ... What is Republican health policy?

Where's the rest of it? This is just the abstract. It doesn't actually explain anything. I'm genuinely interested in reading the actual report.

Why would you want that? You cheered the ACA into being without having read anything other than, "PPACA". We could pass this on top of the ACA and nothing would change except some trial lawyers would be pissed off and sue.

Sounds like they want an Affordable Care Act.....but not Obamacare.

LMFAO, fucking MORONS.

No I didn't, I'm a taxman. I had to read and more or less memorize the Entire Affordable Care Act so that I could explain the tax liabilities to my customers. I was tested over it for my Accountant certification, which has to be renewed every year.

They used six years of Republican control, 2000-2006, to develop...nothing.

That's because the majority didn't want it.

Oh, nobody wanted any improvement in health insurance? You're pretty dumb today. Oh, did I prove the other statement of fact to your liking? I noticed you disappear.

That's because the majority didn't want it.

Once the American people realized that health care was failing in the USA, they elected a Democratic congress, which is why we have the ACA today.

...and also why you'll never be able to repeal it now.

Utter bullshit. The vast majority of Americans knew that something was broken and that was no small part of what got Obama past Hillary was a plan to make things better. The fact that you and yours didn't have a plan is beside the point that's not because nobody wanted it that's just incompetence and worse lack of vision. I can forgive fuck ups a lot easier than I can forgive people who don't try.

Jesus Fucking Christ, this raises the deductible amount from 7.5% of total income to a strait $20,000. First off, that doesn't help ANYONE under the poverty line, because this is just a reduced deductible, not an incentive deductible, so it's nonrefundable. All it can do is get your taxable income down to $0. So for wealthy people, it would serve as a great write-off, but for poor people, you wouldn't actually get that money back, you'd just get a deduction on your already zeroed out taxable.

Also, why is the 2010 education act tied into this at all? Why would the repeal of the education act even be in a healthcare bill?

((I'm only like 10 pages in, some of these questions may be answered later on)).

jesus, more stupid dribble. I guess when you have the obama and his pile of shit...
