Basically everyone is angry at the GOP

If you say so.

I'm not going to go wading back through your myriad of posts....if you lack the courage to state your particular faith when asked, that's fine. It tells us the depth of your purported "faith".

I have no problem telling you that I worship at a United Methodist Church, btw. I'm not ashamed of telling others of my faith or denomination.
Unlike you.

I am a Godless Heathenette.

You go to church? That is good to know.

I was raised Southern Baptist, Fire and Brimstone.
I grew tired of all of the do as I say, not as I do.

Now I'm agnostic.

Well, it's a shame I won't have eternity with you, but here and now is excellent. Here's to doing as we say.

If that is what you get from what I have said, then it makes no difference one way or another.

This board is quite full of people with much anger toward anyone conservative. I will not share actual information here, as I would assume most would not as well.

Those who love obamacare are perfectly free to sign right up (assuming they can get on the sight and do that), but if it does not work for other people, then accept that as well.

I'm a conservative. I'm not stupid, so some people find that difficult to believe.

If you are going to submit personal testimony as evidence in your arguments, be prepared for personal questions. If your testimony has omissions which make you appear contradictory, inconsistent, or hypocritical, don't be surprised when people make that judgment about you.

I have not problems with questions. However, these same people also need to understand that in the age we are now, personal information may not be forthcoming.

If people choose not to believe me, so be it. This is all about discussion here. Everyone has their own opinions and no one will change another, so personal info is not necessary.

I won't do it because I am not an idiot like you if you want to do that.

I would be most on here would feel the same as me and NOT share personal information about themselves.

And you'd be dead wrong. What harm is going to come from sharing personal information here? Oh wait absolutely none.

Your religious persuasion isn't "personal information".

How could anyone track someone down by knowing that they're Agnostic, or Mormon, or Southern Baptist, or Presbyterian?

That's a ridiculous excuse.

As for belonging to LDS or Protestant or Episcopalian or Hare Krishna it doesn't matter to me. It's what you do with what you believe that matters. My comments aren't a condemnation of a particular sect and the practice isn't limited to aspects of the LDS. It's a viewpoint that's held by lots of people, not predictably in one group, but it's a powerful meme.

There's no real harm in sharing tangential personal information. It can sort out who is an ass about it and who isn't, and that's its main value other than just being fine with who you are.

Except for those damned Methodists.. We hates them! ;)

Opinions can be changed. It happens all the time. I once thought John Bonher was a capable politician. I once thought Ted Cruz had a future in the Republican Party. Those opinions may have been valid at one time, but recent events cause me to reevaluate them.

If you don't care if people value your word, that's your choice. If you want to have some validity in the discussion, don't make statements which contain glaring inconsistencies and then claim personal privilege when asked to explain.

I have shared a few times before my denomination. Not afraid to share it. Have before.

LOL....

Funny how some of those who do not post on the GB board choose not to because personal information had been given out and their real lives had been affected.

So, you are welcome to divulge any information you choose to. More power to you!

The only thing I did not share (other than personal income information) is what denomination I am. Does it really matter? I am a Christian.

Perhaps your opinions change.....but I still see Obama as a complete failure who will never be called to the carpet simply because he is black. To me, I could care less of his color. He does need to be questioned when he is not leading as he should. But to have him off limits (by the media in particular) simply because of the color of his skin which God gave him is completely ridiculous.

My opinions are formed by my beliefs. Those will never change as they are not tied to anything man-made.

Right.

No it's because you're worried you're bullshit won't hold up. If you can explain to me how anybody could track you and your family down by you divulging your income rounded to the nearest ten thousand and the number and ages of your family then you'd have a point. But the reality is there are lots of people who fit that discription (whatever it may be)

I've given out loads and loads of personal information and some people do in fact hate me.

And yet I keep on giving out personal information. I remain as yet not dead.
