Basically everyone is angry at the GOP

In the urge to declare victory, liberals forget that America genuinely lost.

Obamacare was imposed in purely partisan fashion, and it remains unpopular because it didn't result from the sort of open, transparent deliberative process which Obama himself understood and promised.

So now there's a huge, lumbering, top-down federal intrusion into health care, and it is already apparent the result is unaffordable.

Pyrrhic...

America Won.
You Lost.
You got NOTHING.
The age of "Tyranny of the Minority" is over.
Get Over It.

Don't like it?
Organize your friend, your co-workers, the folks in your "church".
Get them to vote like you do.
See if you can get a majority of Americans to agree with your toxic "us vs. them" policies.
I'm betting you can't.

I don't believe you read my post. Let the conservatives come on board with the liberals and kill this country through entitlements!

Liberals are all for entitlements, so why should conservatives try so hard when all of you think it is a losing cause? Just live off everyone else like liberals do. Much easier life, I would say.

MY "us vs them".....:D:D:D:D:D

Oh yes, I can see by your posts how "all inclusive you are"....:D:D

Hypocrite much???

Not at all...unlike you, I embrace the concept of "Majority Rule" in America, as the Constitution intended. The needs of the minority should not be overlooked, but neither should a small bellicose belligerent minority dictate public policy...it's anathema to the American Way.

Don't like it? Get a majority. Good luck trying to convince the majority of Americans that your rancid "punish the poor" philosophy is the way to go.

The sustaining of America is the last thing liberals want.

It is all about "we win/they lose" when as you say, America lost. The drive by the liberals is power, greed and mostly pride. They are not concerned one bit about the citizens of this country, only about "winning".

It is truly sickening to know that liberals would enjoy seeing this country fail in the name of some hollow "victory" that they believe matters so much.

Cry those bitter tears, my boy, and continue to rationalize your complete and utter defeat.

There will be no more "do overs" for you vis-a-vis Obamacare.

The only way you'll repeal it now is to elect a Congress and a President who will do so.

You failed in 2012, you'll fail in 2016.

Bottom line: you lost big time. Get over it.

Not at all...unlike you, I embrace the concept of "Majority Rule" in America, as the Constitution intended.

This sentence was all that was needed.

You only embrace "majority rule" when your liberal/selfish party is in the majority.

If conservatives where the majority, then you would be screaming at the top of your lungs how unfair things were.

Hypocrite much? Yes, I thought so.

There simply aren't enough people in America who feel, as you do, the intense need to "punish the poor".

Your bitter tears and lack of grace in defeat make America's victory all the more sweeter.

Ummm.....if people pay the fine and don't get obamacare then it shows that the people of this country actually have the power .......not this very corrupt congress and potus in place now. (include the scotus as well).

These 11 States Now Have More People On Welfare Than Are Employed, NINE of them have majority Democrat party affiliation.(PA).”Death Spiral,” proclaims a chain mail that an Austin reader brought to our attention Dec. 21, 2012.
That’s the headline on a U.S. map with 11 states highlighted and accompanying text that says, “These 11 states now have more people on welfare than they do employed.”
We found the same message and map posted on blogs, discussion groups and Facebook. Even Texas’ attorney general tweeted about it Jan. 7.

The “death spiral” phrase and the 11 highlighted states — Alabama, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York, Ohio and South Carolina — appear in a Nov. 25, 2012, Forbes column, and the map appears onscreen during a Nov. 29 Fox Business “Varney and Co.” report on the commentary piece.
But the criteria used to identify Forbes’ “death spiral” states were not as simple as welfare and employment.
Forbes investment strategies editor Bill Baldwin wrote that those 11 states were “at high risk of a fiscal tailspin” because they had many people who received money from the government but maintained policies that “chase out the private-sector jobs that support all that spending.”
Baldwin reached his conclusion by comparing “makers” and “takers.” For this purpose, he wrote, “a taker is someone who draws money from the government, as an employee, pensioner or welfare recipient. A maker is someone gainfully employed in the private sector.” Then he factored in an index that downgrades states for “large debts, an uncompetitive business climate, weak home prices and bad trends in employment.”
The results, he said, showed states that were “danger spots for investors.”Hmmmm……What interested me in that post was the Party affiliation by state so here you Have it:
Party affiliation by state: Democrat – Republican Percentage
Alabama, 37% - 50%
California, 47% - 34%
Hawaii, 52% - 28%
Illinois, 49% - 35%
Kentucky, 47% - 40%
Maine, 45% - 39%
Mississippi, 43% - 43%
New Mexico, 43% - 39%
New York, 51% - 31%
Ohio 44% - 40%
South Carolina 37% - 47%

If, God forbit, I was ever in the minority again, I'd work tirelessly to promote my vision for America at the ballot box. I would not support the tactics like the subversion of the Constitution that the Tea Party uses.

The very best part of this is that time and demographics are on my side.

Each year that passes results in fewer bitter old white folks such as yourself, two percent of the American population each presidential election.

I seriously doubt we'll see a Republican president again in your lifetime....and that, darling, is a good thing.

You may be surprised how many people in America who feel as I do.......you may be surprised.

You may see those who want to make their own decisions for their own lives as "punishing the poor"......MOST NORMAL PEOPLE see this as being a FREE AMERICAN (or use to be until the socialist pres. stompy-feet and his playground bullies came to play grown-ups at the White House).

Fine, let them pay the fine. I'm cool with that.

You seem to think that people are like you, willing to put their childrens' health at risk to make a political point.

I seriously doubt that will happen.

The fact that you even mention my children is disgusting!

Enjoy paying for them.......about time!

So funny.....You are truly clueless.

Let me make this understandable for you.......(1st grade)

Ex. A person makes x per month. The bills that person/family is required to pay takes most or all of that amount.

obamacare comes in to save the day. The person/family was paying y per month for insurance. Now, with the all-saving obamcare, the person/family will be required to pay 2 (or 3)x per month. Sorry, this person/family does not qualify for the precious "subsidy".

So, what does this person/family do? Lose their house? Not feed their family? Give up car? Not pay electricity?....etc.... all for the single purpose of paying for the lowest plan possible which covers ABSOLUTELY NOTHING unless some major catastrophic illness takes over? That means anytime that person/family member gets sick (not serious) then the doctor appt visits have to be paid out of pocket (and there is no money for that), the prescriptions have to be paid out of pocket (and there is no money for that), etc.......

I just do not think people understand that there are MANY people that truly will not be able to afford healthcare (NOT that they do not want it, most probably already had it), but when there is no more money, people will be faced with the choice of playing that roulette game with health.

Those, before obamacare, should ABSOLUTELY have had THEIR OWN plan to be covered .....whether it was for a pre-existing illness or if it cost to much or for whatever the reason they did not have it. There was no reason (other than simply the political power play) to overhaul the healthcare system and REQUIRE/MANDATE that citizens give up their freedom to choose.

All this will accomplish, when all is said and done, is that there will still be a substantial group of people who are not covered with insurance. The difference will only be that the people in the group will change. It will probably be those who use to have insurance, paid their own way, and now unable to afford it.

Honestly, sounds like a plan to punish those who were trying to pay their own way in this country.

I'd gladly pay to have them taken from you. You're not deserving to raise them.

LOL.....Sorry, I don't put my children in dangerous situations.......so YOU would NEVER be allowed near them. They are such great children. You would ruin them.

You will have to find other children to prey and stalk (until you are arrested, of course)

No dumb ass, the poor aka u and UD are poor because your both lazy and look for hand outs. If you stopped looking for excuses and handouts and focused on a job then and only them could you peoples start to improve your livez

The vast magority of welfare people chose to be poor

He does seem rather fascinated by my children.....he speaks of them often.

It is rather creepy and a grown man should not be so concerned about other people's children unless he has some very perverted reason for doing that.

I would watch him if I were people in his life......kind of scary.
