Rush Limbaugh was interviewing Ted Cruz today and they were pointing out that the modern liberal and media tactic is never to debate issues but to make personal attacks on those promoting views they don't agree with. They try to change the subject from the idea to a personal discussion of whoever is the current individual expressing it.

As you can ALWAYS find something negative to say about anyone, that means the individual always becomes the subject rather than the issue.
