What skills do you have that would have...

I'm a decent shot, with either gun or bow.

And I'm smart, which helps regardless of the century.

yep, employable - so long as you don't mind the silly costumes

just so long as you're smart enough not to appear too smart and draw attention to yourself in the form of enemies vying for power and poisoners/assassins paid to make you less smart. :)

I often look like a deer caught in the headlights. And I am often fooled by the onesin sheep's clothing. The wolves would rip me to shreds.

I have a wall fulla diplomas and certificates.

I grow fruits and veggies better than God can. I usta raise hogs years ago.

I completed a 4 year sheet metal apprenticeship in 1976, if its made of metal I can make it.

I worked in a bakery as a kid, and made bazillions of things.

I know how to can and preserve food.

In the Air Force I repaired every kind of engine there is. Gasoline, diesel, gas-turbine. Plus refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical power generation, etc.

I can draw, and had 7 years of formal training in all kinds of drawing and drafting.

My skills are many.

I'm a polymath.

'Twould be a pleasure. I've always enjoyed BD's posts. As long as he didn't "woof" all day long.

The days of iron, steam and beautiful architecture, if it were possible to overlook the crushing poverty and disease it would be a dream.

Woof!

(Opps sorry)

I can catch, kill, skin and gut, and cook my own food.
Plus I almost never call anyone to help me fix stuff.... self-sufficiency is the rule.
So long as I wasn't in the era where witches got burned, I'd be fine.

Is prevarication a skill?

Not to mention the most recent recipient of the wanker queen seal of "I" approval...

so you can turn your hand to quite a lot of stuff. that's cool

i'd not bother with the psychoanalysis, though.

hmmn, all this makes me feel like drawing out a map of a castle, outhouses, bakehouse, wash house, gardens for horti/herbi/veggie-culture, stables and surrounding village then put each of you in place. we need a few courtiers for the queen, and a jester

I can dig a moat.
i don't know if we have small enough shovels . . . oh, wait - we have a few men who might be able to help you out there.
psst - how long is it gonna take you, only moats are quite important and - well, big.

that reminds me! we need medics - and brewers!

Is prevarication a skill?
in diplomacy and 'how to be a courtier'? of course!

Is wolf a euphemism for bill collector?
kinda sorta depending on the locale's fauna and metaphors work whichever way you look at it

Never took you for a complete idiot.... but the OP called for pretty much everyone to answer with an 'I'.
