With all due respect, I don't really care the number of supporters on each side is equal. That's not my point at all. I didn't take a tally of who is on what side because to be honest I really couldn't care less. Even if someone gave me chocolate or paid me a dollar.

This is drama. This is the Internet. I take everything I read on the Internet with a grain of salt. I love you all equally until I actually meet you. That's when you become real to me. Until then, I'm just not invested.

My point is this: all of those who support a side of an argument based on the people involved instead of the facts of the argument - regardless of the side they take - are equally wrong.

Ok making myself a target I'm sure as a new person, but I can't believe this thread is still going!

I came on GB and Reci was the first person I spoke to. She seemed to be fairly normal. I was caught in the crossfires of users like Jim whatever the trailer park king and Pablo pervert. Anyway I don't think racist remarks, insults, cursing and ranting makes for good debating. It just makes yoh look like an ignorant asshole regardless how many sources you post or quote. So Reci of course comes off a million times more intelligent than those yahoos.

So then I notice people are taking digs at her that were off topic. Then I found this thread. So beinng bored and curious I read it from the beginning. Needless to say, I was shocked/surprised to find out what the deal was. I understand why some of you are really pissed, disappointed, disgusted, etc. I was thinking what the hell do I do now? Did I just make friends with the devil?

Whatever the form of the relationship was, she admitted that it was a crime and that it was out of bounds of the law - the details of whether it was pics or cyber or whatever is irrelevant, it was inappropriate. Inappropriate relationship = screwing with (again -- not she was screwing him, but screwing around with, fucking around with, messing around with) him.

I could accept that she sees it as wrong if she didn't then turn around and claim she "didn't do" anything. And if she could drop the "I did him some good" part. Which, again, throughout this thread, has been what I, and several others, have pointed out as BS.

She said he was already corrupt, and if anything, she rehabilitated him. I don't know what she meant, I do know that's a very common justification for child abuse -- "She was acting like a whore, I cured her". Combined with "He wasn't your average 14 year old", classic victim blaming.
